"Great renovated hotel in a small sleepy town of Avola with an easy access to free beaches, free street parking. Nice helpful hostess and her staff. Luxury rooms, good continental breakfast, quiet area for a very small price! I strongly recommend it. In case you drive a car and want to visit sights in neighboring Syracuse, do not fall for expensive options in Syracuse, stay in this hotel and simply drive very short distance to Syracuse and use historical area available parking and walk to all major sights. "

"Stayed for 3 nites Air Conditioner was broke and not working the first night but they brought us a fan which helped and they fixed it the next morning. Breakfast was great the first morning and went downhill from there- $8.00 per person. Probably not worth it but the coffee was good. No cafe near by. Shower great. Staff helpful. Old building in not a very pretty area but safe enough. Elevator helpful for luggage. Great restaurants on the beach. "

"The house is spacious and comfortable, situated in a quiet but convenient area. Avola is 5 minutes away, the motorway linking Messina, Catania, Siracusa and Gela is also a few minutes drive from the house.A car is essential. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. If we had a problem they responded immediately. As for this area of Sicily there is lots to do. Beach lovers are well catered for and there are plenty of possibilities for hikers. The beautiful towns of Siracusa, Noto, Ragusa and Modica are within easy reach. We would certainly love to go back."

"We had a great stay in this comfortable villa. Corrado and Isabella are the most wonderful of hosts - with nothing too much trouble, on hand to deal with any problems and happy to provide advice on restaurants and places to go. The outside space is wonderful - fantastic pool (on the cool side at end of April but still great to swim in), outside barbecue and pizza kitchen, with a variety of areas to sit out. Great covered veranda also for eating. Fresh eggs for guests from the chickens and plentiful supply of oranges, lemons and almonds. We enjoyed freshly squeezed orange juice and made supplies of lemonade - wonderful. The kitchen is very well equipped and comfortable lounge area with good TV and streaming channels. The sleeping areas are a bit more basic - one comfortable king in main bedroom, other beds not quite as comfortable. Be aware the single beds are small singles (2’ 6” or 75cm) fine for children but not adults. We would certainly be happy to stay again and it is a good base for exploring south east Sicily both the history and beaches."

"place okay. Bit early in season. Everything at the accommodation closed at 7pm. Didn’t open again until breakfast at 0730am. Nowhere else to hang as main reception area closed at 1930so confined to pokey room or outside in cold. We were offered a bigger better room at an extra 20e a night on check in which came over as ours was bit rubbish! -which it was ! It was a 15 min drive to Avola on a dodgy road. Little to see in Avola - sea front area was ok but little there due to time of year. Room was small with fridge that hummed heavily so had to switch off. Bed was uncomfortable for two with cheap memory foam mattress that had clearly lost its memory due to the high number of folk who’d slept on it. Pool area good. generally site looked jaded and tired. Wouldn’t hurt to have a few more signs to direct to location. Buffet breakfast okay. Stayed 2 nights. Location good for Noto / Modica/ Ragusa. But be better staying in one of those places in my opinion. Most reviews not for April but later in year - "

"Lovely villa in Avola - great location for exploring Noto, Syracuse and some great local beaches. The villa is incredible well equipped and the outside area and pool were just fabulous. The owner, Corrado, was extremely helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommended."

"True to photos and description, this place is a gem that can’t be beat! The peaceful atmosphere and the warmth from the owners was a joy; just what we needed. Wineries, amazing cuisine and views are all accessible when you stay here. The privacy and gated home also makes for a safe and efficient space as well. The only advice I would pass along to any new traveler is go for the small car! Not only for the community roads but for parking and navigation throughout Sicily! You’ll be thankful you did! Coffee on the balcony and refreshing dips in the spa, you’ll never forget the sounds and sights that the ocean brings. A sweet secret retreat, you’ll plan for your next stay here, I know we are!"

"Looks like a new development, outside Lido di Noto and Ávola, need a car definitely to move around. Natale is very accommodating and easy to communicate with."
