Great house and location

We enjoyed our stay and loved the area! The community pool was a great bonus, and the convenient location near restaurants, shops and an uncrowded beach made it an ideal getaway for the family!

Spring Break

Great trip! The house is located on the ocean with amazing views. We spent most days on the beach fishing and swimming. We would rent again! Oh, and the dogs loved it. Pet friendly and quiet.

High School Girls Week

We had a wonderful relaxing time. Loved that the house was ON the beach, we spent a lot of time walking the beach. We had 6 people and there was plenty of room inside and out on the deck. Good amenities too. We explored the area, found many great restaurants (ate seafood everyday!), awesome coffee shops and endless areas to visit. Property would be great for families too.

The proximity to the beach was wonderful, kitchen well stocked, the house is in good repair. We would come back next year, but our group will be larger, and there wont be enough bedrooms

Group of fishermen...

As a group of tight knit pals who love to surf fish, we don't need much...but Tony and Co. saw to it that all our needs were met. House is great, views are fantastic, location is stellar. We hope use Diamond Shells again.

Relaxation

The house was great for our group of 7. It was very clean. The owner was great about communicating with us. There are lots of stairs and climbing the dunes to the beach aren’t for the faint of heart, but the beach was almost always quiet and serene. We loved our stay and would definitely come back.

Relaxing beach stay

The kitchen was well stocked and the location was fabulous. We had the beach almost to ourselves for long beautiful walks. The neighborhood was quiet. If you have someone who does not navigate stairs well this property wouldn’t be for you.

perfect for family vacation

We couldn’t have asked for a better location for our yearly trip to Avon. The home was clean, well stocked with basic needs (hangers, kitchen supplies, toilet paper, linens, pillows), and provided quiet and relaxing beach days. The walking path through the dunes to the sand was a bit brutal but nothing we couldn’t handle. The host was easy to communicate with and helped resolve a minor cable issue quickly. The view from the back deck can’t be beat. We would definitely stay again.

Property has a great view. Quiet neighborhood is just what we were looking for! The decking looked new and everything was solid even in the wind. The host was very responsive when we ran into a little problem with technology. Title doesn’t lie Stayed in Buxton past but area around that house was under construction, so tried Diamond Shells. It was a blessing in disguise. Worth the money

We really enjoyed our stay ! 2 things I’d change if I’d look for another vacation rental is look for one with out pets allowed as we encountered a lot of pet hair.That being said we knew it allowed pets when we booked . Loved the family oriented atmosphere and easy beach access!

Amazing view!

Beautiful views, easy access to the beach, quiet cul-de-sac. The house had everything that was needed for our simple beach-going family! Looked to book again for next year and the house is already booked, but would definitely return for a peaceful vacation.
