Surf Shack on DuneWay-EV Charger & steps to Beach with Hot Tub!

  • Hatteras Island newcomers who want to be close to amenities but crave solitude will fall in love with the Surf Shack & the safe Town of Avon! Plenty of history, coastal charm & conveniences, but with a geographical location more than 20 miles off the coast of mainland NC! The Surf Shack is centrally located in town & well furnished to provide several areas to retreat to both inside & out! BONUS - beach access located at the end of the street with no major roads to cross! And an EV Charger!
    The space
    Walk up one flight of stairs to a large south facing porch. Enter thru front door leading you into an open concept living room with electric fireplace, dining room, and kitchen. Take the hallway down to a hall bathroom and twin bunk beds. Continue down hallway to two more bedrooms: one queen bed with slider door that leads onto North facing porch. King bedroom has a slider door as well leading out to porch as well as an attached full bathroom!
    The house is lifted extra high so the ground level under the house is a lovely place to retreat with some shade! BONUS - there is a game room located at ground level with card table, couch, TV, arcade game, etc. Basketball for your enjoyment outside, a hot tub, AND an outdoor shower!

    Guests have access to the entire property except for locked owners closets.

    *For those with an electric car there is an EV charger on the property! 220 Volt Tesla Universal Charger works in any electric vehicle!

    *Discount to OBX local favorite restaurant!

    *Should you want to experience the Northern Beaches - Special Discount for our guests on beach rental supplies & set up between Duck to South Nags Head! Any Questions - please ask your host!

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Leave in a pile in hamper or bathroom. Start a load of towels if you would like - not a request! Leave beds alone - do not strip!
Remove all trash from house (kitchen, bathroom, etc) place in dumpster outside of house. Make sure all dishes are clean, dry and put away. 
Turn all lights off. Set AC to 74 in summer and Heat to 68 in the winter at departure. Lock all doors & windows at your departure. If a key was used please put it back in lockbox.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
