"Friendly helpful staff, clean room slightly tired, excellent breakfast with quality sausages and bacon!
Friday and Saturday nights can be quite loud outside the hotel being a city centre location."
"The room (and possibly the entire hotel) looked to have been renovated recently? No air conditioning in the room and so it was a bit uncomfortable during the night. We only realised there was an electric fan at the back of the cupboard as we were leaving 🙄. The staff were nice and the parking was plentiful. Well located at the Ayr end of the high street and not too far from the beach. The breakfast was very tasty and they offered a good range. Overall we were very happy with our stay."
"We’re 76 and 71 years old. The property, while nice, does not have a lift. Very difficult for us to schlep our suitcases up three flights of stairs.
It’s a “contactless” hotel, which worked out fine. No issues with access.
The restaurant in front of the property, while not part of the hotel, was very nice and offered a discount to hotel guests."
"The hotel was excellent and the location was perfect close to the centre and the beach . We had the breakfast one morning which was excellent. The staff were lovely and helpful. The pool was very good as well. I would highly recommend this hotel."
"The owners were very friendly, organized, and helpful. Centrally located with restaraunts within walking distance. Had an excellent Italian meal on the recommendation of the owners. Would come back again"
"Wonderful quirky and homely guest house that really felt like ‘home’ and we were made to feel incredibly welcome from arrival.
The street scene was beautiful and we parked super easy.
We stayed in the small double with the bathroom across the landing. Not for the prude, who prefer discretion, but we found it perfectly fine and a fun experience dodging guest movements up and down the stairway when using the bathroom. It is key locked, so no one else can use. Quite tight; I am 6ft 2in and found it okay.
Will definitely stay again!"
"Had a lovely stay Hotel was very clean. Staff were very helpful and went out of there way to help you ,our room was very clean and breakfast was very good .We will be booking to come back next year"
"Lovely converted garage. Small in size but everything you need and very convenient for Ayr town centre. The hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble."
