"great location on the edge of the Old City plaza however the sofa bed was NOT comfortable and basic repairs could have been done. door was hard to lock and toilet seat was not screwed in place properly and very wobbly. Main bed was comfortable according to my roommate. Did have a washing machine which was great though I didn't need to use it for the night we were there. "

"We stayed in the Avantgard apartment and while the location was great; right in the centre of the old town, within walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and shops, the apartment did have a few issues. It faces the main road so it was quite noisy throughout the night. The apartment itself is also very creaky, especially the loft where the bed is. The kitchen has a stove and microwave, but not much in the way of pots/pans or crockery so it's not great for cooking your own meals. The...

"Place was clean and located close to everything. Restaurants directly below are delicious. Parking is far but it’s like that everywhere. There is no air con but the owner provided a fan which was very appreciated. We enjoyed our stay."

"DO NOT GO HERE. THEY SCAMMED US. We texted the owner in advance and no one got back to us. We then called the number given and someone answered. They sold the apartment 6 years ago and the apartment is not theirs anymore so they are not sure why their number is still there. "This hotel is great value and is right on the main square even though our room was nice and quiet. Wagners Loft Restaurant is attached and does good Romanian food and also supplies your breakfasts which are included. "

"Centrally located right off the main square so we could see the market and beautiful view of the mountain. The room was very spacious with a large bed. We loved the historical feel of the place but had all modern amenities. There were a couple steep flights of steps which didn’t bother us but if you have knee problems/heavy suitcase be mindful of. I wouldn’t say that’s a deal breaker as it was easy for me but flagging for others who may. Definitely would go back due to the beautiful rooms, friendly staff, and perfect location."
