"This motel was chosen because it is about a mile from the Luray Caverns entrance. The motel is two story, easy drive in, and easy to find. The facility is modern, well kept, and the room was clean and the bathroom facility is excellent. The heater worked fine, which was very helpful as it was cool when I arrived. The room was on the second floor, which was a walkup with safety stairs. But infirmed and older folks will have trouble unless I missed the elevator. There is a breakfast restaurant on the site, with great food, friendly service, and reasonable price. If I came back I would definitely stay there. Not a great choice for travelers coming through a main road as it is about 20-30 minutes of main highways. But for Luray area visits it is perfect and affordable. No grounds no swimming pool, just very good sleep and morning eats."

"The house was super clean. The hot tub was great! The hosts were awesome! Very pet friendly! Communication with the host was super easy. What a great property! We had a great time!"

"Such a special stay! This beautifully preserved cabin is full of charm and character, set on a gorgeous property with peaceful countryside views. Everything was spotless, the hot tub was a perfect bonus, and the location couldn't be better--just minutes from great hikes, the Shenandoah River, and all the gems in downtown Luray.Annettte was a fantastic host--responsive, helpful and thoughtful throughout our stay. We'd absolutely come back and highly recommend!"

"Electricity in our room was not working. The room was not checked before we checked in. We could not open bedroom windows to get fresh air, since bedroom was small and not fresh. There was a weird sound in the room like tık tik tik. İt was coming from the floor or wall woods. We could not understand the source but it was disturbing in the middle of the night. It was a small noice but disturbing in the silence of the night."

"We so enjoyed our stay at Luray Modern. It had everything we needed and more. I mean they go above and beyond, they even had things like makeup remover wipes and dog treats. I know that seems like simple stuff but it’s very appreciated. Being above the coffee shop made mornings so easy for coffee and breakfast we had it everyday of our stay. Also being next to the Hawksbill Greenway was great for our dogs and we were so excited to find a pet friendly place to stay. My husband brought his fishing poles and we fished in the creek everyday. We even caught some trout to bring home. The hosts were very easy to communicate however we didn’t really need to communicate with them because everything was perfect. The apartment is also very centrally located and we were able to walk to most restaurants and stores. Overall we loved staying at Luray Modern! Highly recommend!! "

"This cute little home was perfect for a visit to Shenandoah and the Luray caverns. Coffee shops are a short 5 minute walk away, the kitchen is fully equiped, and the home was clean and cozy with everything we needed. The only slight negative were the sounds of trains at night, but I don't remember hearing them past 9pm. Plus they had white noise machines in every bedroom. Great place to stay and visit the area! I highly recommend."
