"Very private location, especially in mid-April with not a single soul on the lake. The house was beautiful and spotless. We had a great time lounging on the deck and enjoying Ely. One note - it is a trek up the hill to the parking space, and be aware that there are quite a few steps down to the door. It was good exercise for us in our early 60's after a long MN winter, but might be problematic for people with mobility issues."

We were able to all get to spend some much needed time together to catch up, all while having plenty of room for gear and being less than 10 minutes from the hill. The home was clean and Kris was so accommodating!"

"The home was just right. Comfortable, spacious and roomy for our family. The home included a great kitchen for all the family meals. Very large dining table/ benches to gather at. Two bathrooms. Very large upstairs with lots of room and areas to sleep and a large bedroom on the main floor. We had a warm February stay full of sunshine and mild temps. Thank you Jason and Jennifer for the perfect family getaway."

"The Villa is beautiful with a nice layout that will accommodate a multigenerational group well. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. There is a great view of the lake out the back windows and it's located minutes from Giants Ridge Ski Resort. We will definitely try to come back."

"Our second Christmas at this cabin! We brought our tree, lights, presents, and enough food to last us several days. Because there was no snow and we found slushy ice on Gegoka, we drove to nearby hiking trails—all lovely. The kitchen is well-provisioned with spices, herbs, pots and pans and the bookshelves are loaded with terrific wildlife resource books. This cabin has one of the best wood stoves we’ve experienced. Despite gloomy, rainy days, we had a good stay!"

"This was our 5th year to Wilderness Wind and it was absolutely beautiful and amazing as per usual. Jay is awesome and Lulu is a great greeter! We stayed in Moose and loved every minute. Everything was clean and organized. We leave little trinkets hidden in the cabin every year, it's fun to see them moved to different spots☺️. We will definitely be back next year!!"
