A modest hotel a little expensive

A modest hotel for the price of a luxury one in Sapa. During weekend it' looks like a tourist factory.....But the manager is very helpfull and the sunday morning market in Bac Ha , with all the tribal costumes, is a must. Don't miss it !

Good place to stay

Friendly and comfortable hotel (I was in the old one). Nice balcony. Good food in restaurant and filling breakfast. Parked my bike inside over night. Good overnight stop

Bac Ha, a hidden gem

Outside appearances can be deceptive, The Ngan Nga Bac Ha Hotel is welcoming and friendly. There is no lift, but staff carry your heavy luggage and walking a couple of flights of stairs is good for your health. Take time to sit outside and have a drink and watch the beauty of Vietnam unfold before you, chat to the friendly staff, they may struggle with some English, but super nice people. The manager is very helpful, assisting with problems that are not hotel related. Food was excellent.

予めﾂｲﾝの部屋を予約していたが、ﾀﾞﾌﾞﾙの部屋に案内された。ﾂｲﾝを予約したと 説明したら、少々時間を取って確認しﾂｲﾝの部屋に案内され予約どおりとなった。 若干手違いがあったようである。 立地的は、日曜市に近い場所で申し分なく、また、路線ﾊﾞｽがﾎﾃﾙの前を通っており この前で乗降出来たのは、非常に便利であった。

Nos tocó una habitación sin ventana con un olor muy fuerte a humedad. Por el resto, el hotel es aceptable (aunque viejo y sin ascensor). Especialmente positivo fue el trato recibido por el personal del hotel, que nos ayudó con varias cuestiones que les planteamos.

Il s'agit d'un hotel modeste, mais il n'y a pas beaucoup d'autre choix à Bac Ha. Les chambres sont petites et un peu spartiates. La photo présentée sur le site n'est pas très représentative (ils ont mis leur meilleure photo).

A fine hotel where the friendly, efficient staff can organise motorbikes, home stays, onward transport etc. It''s close to the popular and fascinating Sunday market so you can get there before the minibuses from Sapa arrive ... Recommended.

Worst hotel experience

French comment below. We don't understand the popularity of this hotel. The bedroom is only OK, the food was the worst we had in one month in Vietnam (examples: tasteless soup and fried spring rolls, cucumber salad without cucumber) and the staff is overwhelmed by the popularity of the hotel (even if there are not too much people). We booked a bus to sapa directly with the hotel. It was overpriced and the worst bus trip ever!!!! 30 seconds before we leave, the owner of the hotel informed us that a visit in a village was included (witch we didn't want!!). We know there isn't much hotels in bac Ha, but surly there is one better than this! Nous ne comprenons pas pourquoi cet hotel est si populaire. La chambre est juste correcte, la nourriture est la pire que nous ayons mangé en un mois au Vietnam (par exemples: soup et rouleau de printemps sans goût, salade de concombres sans concombre) et les employés sont débordés par la popularité de l'hôtel et ce, même s'il n'y a pas beaucoup de client. Nous avons réservé un billet de bus pour aller à Sapa directement auprès de l'hôtel. C'était notre pire trajet de bus la vie!!! 30 secondes avant d'entrer, le propriétaire de l'hôtel nous a informé qu'une visite d'un village était incluse dans le billet de bus (on ne la voulait pas et ça ne valait pas la peine..). Nous savons qu'il n'y a pas beaucoup d'hôtels à Bac Ha, mais il doit certainement y avoir mieux.
