All of the equipment and facilities were in very good condition, which made the stay even more comfortable. The place looked just like the photos and description on the website, so there were no unpleasant surprises. The hotel is in a lovely location next to the square. The hotel itself is nice. It has been renovated last year due to a fire. The bedrooms are hit and miss as regards size, some are very small but bathrooms are great and loads of very hot water. Breakfast is lovely and fresh, great choice and the staff are lovely and very friendly. Check in and check out very good, no ques. hotel WIFI is poor and needs to be improved as no excuse for poor wifi in 2020.Overall a pleasant stay. BTW in summer...

LOVELY LOCATION, CLOSE TO BASEL CITY FOR MEETINGS IN THE INDUSTRIAL AREA. NICE VIEW OVERLOOKING THE RIVER. VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF. SAFE PARKING. GOOD FOOD FOR DINNER. THE ONYL THING I WOULD RECOMMEND IS MORE GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS. THE BREKFAST COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER AND INCLUDED MORE OF A SELECTION OF CHEESE, MEATS, FRUIT ETC I WOULD RETURN AS IT HAS A LOT OF POSITIVES PLUS EVERYONE WAS SO PROFESSIONAL AND DOG FRIENDLY. IT WAS NICE TO SEE A VARIETY OF DOGS.

Two minutes from the old town, but still far enough to avoid all the noise. Extremely friendly staff, and great breakfast, nice freshly-made eggs and superb pastry. The room was not huge, but very well organised, clean, and a huge comfy bed. Would definitely come back. Christmas markets are less than 10 min away. On top of everything, we had the Basel card which gave us fee public transport, and a complimentary drink every night. What else does someone need?
