"This place was very clean, plenty of hot water, staff was very curtious whe we checked in. Had guest laundry room on the 3 floor and we told the employee we had to do laundry and he gave us a room close to it. I would definitely stay here again!"

"This cabin was a perfect getaway for my family. Super clean and information left for us was very helpful. Tons of space for gathering together. The basement floor level offered an additional area for people to gather and watch tv. Very easy to use access passes for pool and beach areas. Hidden gem by the pool area was the dragonfly fairy garden and tower."

The manager was always answering all my questions when I had any as quickly as possible!! Galena Territory was an amazing town with many great shops and places to eat!!"

"We had 3 generations of family in Galena for a family vacation and we all loved the property so much, it was clean nicely appointed and plenty of room for of us to sleep, get ready and have movie nights. The kitchen was a little small, but we made it work. We will be back."

"The carriage house offers a special break from adults to those younger. It was perfect for the young adult cousins gathering, leaving the main house for the older adults.The layout was perfect, the kitchen amazingly stocked, the media room well used. The hot tub was a hit and the owner’s passes a real value.Galena offers a great deal of activities.As for the house, the bare basics are supplied. We had to buy paper towels after 24 hours. A run to the store in the same 24 for basic hygiene needs were needed.The microwave went out on the last day but we didn’t even reach out to the owners to solve. They responded quickly enough for questions but we never felt warmth and welcomed. The overwhelming rustic charm design needs dusting but is unique and prompts discovery.Mattresses are not comfortable and linen is subpar. The master had standard cases on king pillows and the 90’s spreads could use a good cleaning.Showers were wonderful and check out is without direction other than hauling trash to a site. We carried ours out with us.It sleeps 12 as marketed but the refrigerator is small-not large enough alone for that many people.It promotes a pond but as they hadn’t had rain for a time, it wasn’t dredged or aerated so not charming or useable. I had been told by the owners that it wasn’t useable.If the weather had cooperated even a little we would have used the fire pit, but just the gas grill got tested very successfully. The screened in porch was great."
