"This house was really a gem, well equipped and surrounded by nature. Just be SURE to rent a 4WD vehicle, as there are many steep and winding dirt roads to access the property with huge potholes and ruts. We knew about this area but if you have never been there be prepared for an off-road experience. Lots of birds and beauty make the effort worthwhile. Friendly and helpful caretakers. We had a lovely time:)"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The house is as pictured, it was clean and easy to check in. Beautiful views and not far from a few yummy restaurants! It’s a bit of a drive to La Fortuna but we did 2 activities (night walk and zipping) at CRParadisio which is close to the house. I would recommend this property!"

"Had a great stay with my family and young grand kids. Place is great, monkeys in trees, beautiful grounds, you can tell the owners have gone out of there way to make staying here an absolute pleasure. Great location for activities, groceries and food. Air conditioned rooms, kitchen with everything you would need and great outdoor space. Definitely would stay again. "

"We enjoyed our stay — much to do in the surrounding area and the house and views from the huge deck are stunning. Some great local restaurants including Gingerbread right at the base of the driveway. We also liked Tortuga a few miles to the east and the Cafe Amor in Neuva Arenal. "

"Our group of 2 families enjoyed the stay here. We had everything we needed. The location is beautiful, but very windy. The scenery was the highlight for adults. Kids loved the mini golf and the upstairs loft (beware of the steep steps). It is about an hour drive to the volcano. Lots to see and do within an hour drive in all directions. There is nice food close by "

"This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. This would be a very fun place for a group of friends as there was a big field to play in, tons of beds, and a big covered communal area to play games.
