A heated swimming pool is available as an option. The house overlooks the Douro River, is super private, away from prying eyes, and enjoys an excellent location with breathtaking views. It has good access via granite cobblestones, is 15 minutes from the centre of Baião and 3 minutes from the Douro line train station - Mosteirô, allowing for extremely easy train access. All bedrooms are suites with river and pool views, and can have 1 king-size bed or 2 single beds, with direct access to the pool and garden. The 16m infinity pool is heated (optional) and is located on a granite terrace at the same level as the bedrooms and living room, where meals can be enjoyed at a generous table and where there are sun loungers for relaxation. The house has a fully equipped kitchen with a table and breakfast bar, and a living room with a table for 8 people with sofas and a TV. The house also offers a games room with a pool table, table football and TV, with a patio and green spaces also overlooking the Douro River. It also has a fitness room with a treadmill and elliptical trainer, as well as a fully equipped laundry room. It also has a technical area with a barbecue. It has private parking for 4 cars. The 10,000 m2 property is located in the former "Quinta da Vinha" and has terraces with vines, fruit trees and a forest area. In the area surrounding the house, it is possible to take walking trails along the old Roman road to the Douro River, alongside streams, waterfalls and many green areas. A staff member will be available daily to serve breakfast (included) and assist with anything you may need. In high season (June to September) the pool is heated. In low season (October, April and May) there is a surcharge of 250 Eur to heat the pool. From November to March, the low outside temperatures do not allow for effective pool heating.
