Second time at the Grand

Our second visit to the Grand, the place is ok a little old and the bathrooms are very small but the bar and restaurant are very convenient which is more our priority. Comfortable beds, clean rooms.

Fantastic stay

Such a pleasant change from motels. Old style but renvated with all modern features you need. Our room was huge with classic wood panel and a cozy but comfortable bathroom. Both fridge and microwave plus coffee maker. Friendly and helpful and fully bilingual front desk staff. Quick checkin and out. Great restaurant on site. I would not consider any other place to stay in Baie Comeau, and all at a very reasonable price.

The rooms was quite spacious, having two separate rooms for the two beds was kinda fun! Although having the bathroom being only near one bed is a bit annoying for the other people we were with, but other than that the beds were very comfortable, the comforter was actually fluffy, and not just a sheet of paper, and the pillows were soft and cozy. The ambiance was so nice, and I loved the bricks in the rooms, such a different and cozy vibes. I don't go in that area often, but now I want to just so I can go to this hotel again. The price was extremely reasonable for what you get. I definitely recommend this place for a nice quick stay or a longer one!

This properry is lovely. The rooms are huge and seems newly renovated. I was on the lowest level in the 100s. The restaurant looked beautiful but we didnt eat there. The ownly downfall is parking is limited at the hotel. We lucked out with a spot right at our entrance but if not then we would have had to park somewhere near by not at the hotel

An old fashion hotel. Front desk, bar and dining room staff were all quite young, pleasant and competent. Parking is not easily accessible. We had a deluxe room which was large with a very comfortable bed. Hot water was constant in sink and jetted tub, but not in the shower. Some furniture items are in needs of repairs. Overall, it was quite and comfortable and suited our needs.

This is a very central location. I was on second floor. Smelled cigarette - would benefit changing the carpets. The hotel is kind of rustic which gives it charm and lots of old looking wood decoration. Staff needs a pep talk. Mostly students or intl students?; polite but have no sense of service to clients. Do not go overboard on explaining where the parking is. Disd not know the parking rule on the front street. One of them spoke some sort of teenage growling. The bar is nice and you can get a decent beer and some food. Useful place for quick short business station. Room was comfir but toilet bowl is literally installed across the door between you and the sink.. Weirdest design ever seen.
