About this property
Fawn Haven on the Lake
We are now accepting guests as of June 15th, 2018. We are so pleased to be able to share this amazing property with you. The view of the lake and creek from the home is breathtaking. The sunrise and the stars at night are out of this world. No light pollution. There are great hiking trails within a five minute car drive and a fun local shooting range for the gun enthusiasts. This home truly is one of a kind. Its located right near Mt. Evans Wilderness which has a great hike along a beautiful river. No fishing in the lake unfortunately even with a colorado fishing pass. No events of parties.
The view from the upper deck, living room and master bedroom is spectacular. There is a swing out front that overlooks the lake and the home is located closest to the lake than any other. This is such a beautiful spot to relax and watch the bald eagles hunt for fish, bring your binoculars!

Worn out broken home
Old worn out broken home that needs remodeling , everything is old. No dishwasher washer or dryer, doors don’t close, windows broken or lost their seal, just old and worn out, and could use major cleaning and yard work. The surrounding is pretty and we were lucky to see a bull moose. Quiet neighborhood.
Very comfortable space with a great view over looking the lake. I would stay here again. I was impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was for us.
The neighbors on one side are kind of close for a cabin.

Great view, quit neighborhood. It was a spacious interior. A little surprised that the kitchen and dinning room was on the 2nd floor with steps. The parking area was limited.
Communication with the property owner, Robin, was fantastic. Communication was easy and responsive. The Mountain View is breathtaking, especially with the snow! Sitting out on the deck watching the mule deer walk the property every morning and evening was precious. The cabin was clean but in need of a bit of TLC. If you are looking for peace and time to unplug, this is your place. If you are looking for amenities of city life it’s best you look elsewhere.
Nice cabin in the valley. Plenty of space. Close to trails and Highway 285 for access. Kitchen and bathroom well stocked in case you forgot something. Grill outside to enjoy outdoor dining with great views. Peaceful and relaxing.

1970’s called
Cute little cabin at the end of the road, very private and serene. Saw a lot of wildlife. The huge 8 person kitchen table was the highlight of the house, the rest leaves a lot to be desired. The place is run down and needs a lot of updating… the house feels like it’s about to fall over and everything from the original 1970’s bathrooms and kitchen to the brown shag carpet need replaced. For 3 smackers a night I expected a little more.
We really enjoyed hanging out on the deck and taking in the gorgeous views. It's so nice that it's the last house in the neighborhood, so you weren't looking at other houses, just the lake and mountains. There were 8 of us and it was plenty roomy and VERY well stocked.
We had a wonderful stay. A beautiful view and great location for hiking. Our dogs really enjoyed the say as well. The owner was very easy to communicate with, and checking in and out a breeze.
The cabin is in great shape and well stocked. Was the perfect home base for our family get together. Couldnt ask for more. Communication with owner was excellent. Will book again!
The home is close to the lake, watching the sunrise in the morning in the balcony was one of mine and my husband’s favorite part of our stay. The old fashioned home reminded me of the old movies where parents have raised their kids but still are together enjoying their golden life lol. Its like living the simplest life, it humbled us. It was a nice getaway from the city, it was quiet, the kids had a great time, and it was simply perfect!
Great cabin, cozy and comfortable just like you’d imagine it to be. Everything was clean and booking/check in process was seamless and host responded very quickly. Will be back in the summer and hopefully lake with be filled/higher.

The location was awesome. The house had old uncle's charm to it. Very clean. The only complaint olis that the beds, stove and microwave need updating to this century. If this were taken care of it would be our summer home away from home.
This is a great place to unwind. We're so glad to have found it as we were looking for somewhere to get away and relax. The owner responds quickly and it had everything we were looking for. Really enjoyed this stay!
Lovely Views from the Upper Deck. Would definitely recommend the stay. Check in was very easy. My Family of 6 stayed here very comfortably and had plenty of room.
Our daughter and her four bridesmaids spent the night before her wedding at this cabin and in the morning, the hair and make-up artists came to them to prep for the wedding. The large table off the kitchen was perfect for all the styling and socializing, while the outside deck afforded beautiful scenery and refreshing breezes. Owner was prompt and pleasant in communication. Lovely, peaceful start to a very busy and happy day!
What a great view. The place reminded us of going to grandma and grandpa's for summer vacation. If you are going to stay anywhere around Bailey Co then this is the place to stay. Fishing, hiking, moose watching or just doing nothing all right here. We had a mama moose cooling off in the lake everyday. Her and her calf walked right by our deck one morning. It seemed more like Moose Haven not Fawn Haven. lol. There were lots of mule deer too. Plenty of wild life. It was part of a great family vacation.

Impressive view and very quiet in the valley. Will definitely be back!
This house is very lovely and just a great place to get away and disconnect. We absolutely loved the view and how peaceful it was. The house had everything we needed and the owner was very friendly and responsive. Not far from Conifer on your way in from Denver to grab groceries. Highly recommended!

Really cute place. Gorgeous views of the lake.
We stayed in this cute cabin for a friend birthday. Beautiful views of the water. Ww grilled good food look a stroll around the lake. Then ate popcorn and watched movies in front of the fire. All around a really fun weekend. I would recommend and I would stay there again
