"Wonderful place to stay in December while visiting Ohio holiday showpieces and traveling to see family in Ohio. The property leaned into its name “Garland” and had eye-appealing decorations in the public spaces in the first floor."

"Pros: It is a beautiful property. The pics accurately represent the dwelling, host is responsive, ammenities are plentiful, kitchens are stocked and host recommendations were helpful.Cons: You can't check in a minute early w/o a fee. After an 8 hour drive, I arrived 30 minutes early and couldn't check in. The instructions to get in were not complete (missing a necessary step), so we ended up not getting in until 20 minutes after our check in time when the host texted they unlocked it remotely. The day before you get there, you receive approximately 3 pages of 'house rules', to include disclosing there are cameras pointed at the hot tubs with recording. It's a lot of money to pay for a place in BFE Ohio and be that restricted."

"Yes. We loved our stay. Our room was by the lumberyard so it was noisy during the day but better at night. The breakfast was excellent and the lobby was clean and beautiful. The girl at the front desk did not tell me that she was putting a $100 deposit down iin my card and said it was for incidentals. So that was surprising when I saw the charge. But it was a great stay. "

"We arrived to a beautifully decorated well lit cabin. Warm and inviting. The kitchen is stocked so very well you can do anything in it. The open space of the main floor allows the entire family to gather at the very long table. The sleeping arrangements are perfect for our family. Some beds are bigger than others, which is exactly what’s needed. We absolutely could not have asked for a better place and better hosts. "

"Didn't bring pets but there were instructions for pets. Just a very welcoming and warm cozy home. Can't say enough about the owner either. Very responsive anytime I messaged her for anything. "
