Beautifully appointed short or long term rental for professional seeking a turnkey in the heart of Bakersfield. Just 1 minute to the 99 and 58 off of Stockdale highway in a culdasac of newly remodeled homes; featuring 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, pool, and granite kitchen with all new appliances, as well as new washer and dryer use with utilities, cable, and internet included. Perfect for the professional who needs a peaceful place to work and relax, yet close to all highways and situated in a quiet cul de sac. 10 minutes to Cal State Bakersfield. No smoking in the house at anytime whatsoever. If you smoke outside, you must be at least 20 feet from the doors and windows. Discard of your smoking paraphernalia in the outdoor trash can after it is thoroughly distinguished.

All tenants who open the pool gate surround must NOT dive into the pool and must be able to swim. No exceptions.
The pool is a shared amenity.

Amazing stay!!

I can’t say enough how amazing this place is. The house lacks for nothing everything is provided. I can’t imagine giving this less than five stars. Having read previous reviews I was I a little skeptical however as soon as we arrived any worry I had disappeared the rooms are super comfy and include kitchenettes and bathrooms in both rooms. Pool area was pristine and house was immaculate. I will definitely be staying here again when we come to visit family. Thankyou again Barb!

Beautiful Little Place and GREAT layout for Two Groups

The property is centrally located in Bakersfield on a quiet street. Very comfortable. The layout is incredible for two couples or, in the case of our group, two single mothers with small children. Each family had a bedroom and private bathroom all behind a separate door. The living area and kithcne are well designed and stocked. We wanted for nothing. The pool is an incredible amenity in the heat of the Bakersfield summer and includes toys for the kids. Should be noted that the pool is shared with another small rental on the property. Great communication from the host and very easy check-in and out process. Would rent again!

Beautiful!

I have stayed at several VRBO's, this was the nicest by far! The owner was very accommodating and kept us updated as to the status of our reservation. We stayed with another couple, but due to the layout of the house we never felt under-foot of each other. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Very disappointing stay. Too many restrictive rules, including limited pool hours (10–7) because it’s shared. The listing didn’t disclose there’s a back house and another tenant who works nights, which meant we couldn’t make any noise. Not at all relaxing — would not book again.”

MAY VACATION GETAWAY

House ideally situated for trips to mountains, desert, coast and all the little stops between. Clean and accommodates 4 adults, 1 child perfectly. Pool is great on hot days and non travel time. Highly reccommend. Thanks for best vacation ever.

Nice place, nice location but poorly stocked.

This property is in a nice quiet neighborhood. We had several issues though. We had a clogged toilet & no plunger. There were no knives, cutting board, cheese grater, sauce pans, clothes hangers so we bought a knife, sauce pan, hangers & a plunger. We asked about an outdoor grill and told yes but when we went to use it, it was out of propane. We had to put our meal on hold to go buy some. The big issue though was the beds. Way too soft, no support. The pool was serviced the day before we left and a loud sucky thing kept coming on and since it was right outside our bedroom it was very disturbing. My husband went out in the middle of the night to figure out how to turn it off. We were already there under bad circumstances and all these things just added to our misery.

One of my favorite properties in Bakersfield. Beautiful home, elegantly decorated. A few wonky things that the owner knows about, but on the whole a terrific property.

Cozy Little Cottage with a Great Pool

This house was well worth the stay with an open layout, comfortable settings, and being priced right! It provided comfort, peace, and relief at the end of long days. The pool was the best part and the living room was cozy for family quality time. We would stay here again!

Wonderful Quiet Neighborhood Close to Everything

I vacationed for 2 weeks in Bakersfield to visit family, go to the coast, etc. This was a wonderful home base with everything we needed. The pool was a lifesaver on hot days as well. I would definitely stay here again!
