"The Corn Store was just as the pictures showed. It’s a pretty Cottage in a peaceful location with many local amenities. We only had a few days but felt we had seen and done a lot. The cottage itself was very comfortable, the dining area sat five of us around the kitchen table and there were plenty of comfy chairs in the sitting area for after supper. We used the garden table on the back terrace for tea one day and it was a real sun trap. The bathroom to bedroom ratio was excellent and all beds...

"We would definitely stay here again. Very friendly helpful staff from the start of our stay until the end. Food always very hot and freshly made. Amazing breakfast with a starter a main and as many hot or cold drinks you want. Room good size large comfy bed good pillows very clean. Large rainfall shower. Hand soap hand lotion shower gel and shampoo. Tea coffee biscuits still and fizzy water in room. We stayed in a back room but did see rooms on the front with bay windows were bigger and brighter. Good patking spaces at back. We also loved the spiral staircase a lovely building with a bar restaurant reception disabled toilets seating out the front a library big stone fireplace lots of leaflets of local attractions. Lovely little village with shops cafes etc a short walk to the lake and visitor center. You can take a dip if its warm. Definitely try the whippy icecream van double 99 it's huge lol. Here you are an hour away from Barmouth and Snowdonia. We saw sheep goats birds rabbits during our stay. We both enjoyed our stay here. "We stayed in an apartment with our three children. It was lovely and clean and perfect for us. We had two double beds in the living room and still plenty of space, and a separate bedroom with another double bed and the bathroom. The apartment was really well stocked with cutlery and plates cups etc. No issues with anything the apartment was really tidy and clean. The breakfast was lovely and staff very helpful. Good selection of cereals, pastries, fresh fruit and yoghurt. The hot selection was plentiful and tasty. Really good location not far from local amenities and a pebble beach, quick drive to portmadog."

"Great value stop over when travelling north through Wales. We were looking for a family room for one night and could see that it was a busy weekend with very little availability across north Wales. Plas Coch was available, great price and decent big room for the three of us. Ok, so it could do with a lick of paint and a polish in a few places but it was clean, well situated and the staff were helpful in helping us park. Perfect for our needs, thank you."

"A very quirky hotel with plenty of character. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast presented a good choice and the eving menu had a number of choices. Room was a little dated but to be expected in a castle. Peacocks everywhere!! Village centre is very quiet with a number of units closed. Work was taking place on the central mm aren't square so a little unkempt and inaccessible."
