"A very clean and comfortable hotel with extra amenities like bathrobes a.s.o. The breakfast was extraordinary good. There was also a spa that we didn`t use. The only minus was that the parking was really hard to find since one had to drive around the quarter and there where also other parking garages, which didn’t belong to the hotel. The last parking garage was the one of the hotel. Good location close to the Balaton See."

"We really enjoyed our time at this property, thank you. I think there is great value overall. The balcony was really relaxing and our room was spacious. The grounds are really well kept and there are lots of seating and room for guests to enjoy. We really appreciated the small bathtub put in our room for our baby. Very nice attention to detail. We also enjoyed the wine tasting. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and it’s a nice touch to not only try wines from the area but also to mingle with others. If I’m being honest, my husband and I felt the food is overpriced. We had lunch once and dinner once for two which totaled over $220 with no alcohol (the dinner price is fixed and lunch consisted of chicken tenders, a sandwich and fries). Dinner is a buffet and à la carte combo. I may be the minority here but the buffet food and aspect cheapened the costly dinner experience as we felt the à la carte part was the tastiest and freshest. Would’ve rather had the ordering menu and had a glass of wine included in the price. The cost of the food and the cost of the room was just a bit odd to us."

"We arrived a bit early but the lovely receptionist asked for our room to be cleaned as a priority and provided coffee and delicious biscuits while we waited. The room was the one with the balcony and was wonderful. Very spacious and quiet despite some children being in the large room down in the garden nearby but we only heard them when outside. The breakfasts were very good. They do get busy early on as Hungarians and Germans seem to eat early and some even beat us down and we are usually always up first. When our room's coffee machine didn't seem to work (one of the two at breakfast broke too, not due to me!) the lovely receptionist gave me a coffee from there plus cake that day! The parking was near to our room and very handy albeit at £9.50 a day but parking is a nightmare in the lovely town as there are fines threatened everywhere so pay £9.50 instead. We didn't use the pool as it seemed unheated but there were many folk using it when we got back each day. The wifi worked fine to check emails and listen to Radio Caroline on the internet."

"Family with one teenager, from the UK. We were super impressed with this hotel. We don't speak Hungarian, but we were made so welcome, particularly by the reception staff, who responded to requests for kettles, an iron, and numerous other things. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of sunbeds and the variety of food at breakfast and dinner. It was such a relaxing stay — we absolutely loved it!"

"Unsere Ferien und der Aufenthalt im " Haus Flamingo" waren sehr schön. Das Haus war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Der Pool im Garten hat für eine schnelle Abkühlung an heißen Tagen gesorgt. Man ist schnell am Strand, der gut zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Die Klimaanlage in den Zimmern war bei 36C eine Wohltat.Die Küche ist etwas klein aber man hatte alles da, was man brauchte. Einige Dinge müssten erneuert werden, wie zum Beispiel der Grill, die Auflagen für die Strandliegen. Aber das sind Kleinigkeiten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können das Haus Flamingo nur weiterempfehlen."

"Both breakfast and dinner had a good variety. The dining area was clean and so was the room assigned to us. There was a tiny bit of pressure to purchase drinks at dinner time. There was maintenance ongoing with the steam room and one of the saunas but this was not informed at all on the booking page. Likewise the beach which belongs to the hotel was also unavailable and again not mentioned on the booking page. These information should have been made available on the booking page and also not mentioned by staff until I specifically requested information. What’s with the secrecy? I find such behaviour unacceptable and short of rude. If such facilities are unavailable then I expected a discount on the room rates."
