"The villa was absolutely gorgeous. The view was as advertised and we felt safe at all times. However, there was a lot of garbage everywhere and other villas in the area looked unkempt or totally abandoned. That said, the pool was always nice and cold when you needed a cool down from the hot Sicilian sun (not heated) and we always kept the bedroom air conditioned so we had a comfortable place to sleep.
