Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Required a 4x4 vehicle almost the entire length of the road to access property. That was not disclosed until I spoke to the owner who then went and changed the description of property and then added required 4x4 vehicle. Also advertised that beach is only 5 minutes away. Total lie! Just to get down the mountain is no less than 20-25 minutes then beach is another 10 minutes. Also described the property as a Villa whoch implies a much bigger and better place than the one we got to experience. No comfortable places to sit. Sliding door in kitchen had a leak from patio. Outlets in kitchen needed to cook or operate the equipment for cooking and operating other appliances kept tripping. Property management came on two occasions just to replace outlets then came again to recaulk sliding doors. Then came again because the water in the only bathroom stopped working. Landlord/owner was unsympathetic to all we pointed out and would not allow us to vacate property with a partial refund. He changed description once we pointed out the false advertising for the property. We saved the old and the changed. Made a complaint to VRBO but never got a response. Would not recommend anyone to stay at this or any of the other properties this owner rents out.
