We were very comfortable in our accommodation, the food was very nice and prices good. The breakfast could be improved. For a small cost they could have real coffee, sachet instant is a poor offering. Fruit salad too, not uncut fruit. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient.

The staff we’re very accommodating we arrived early and asked if we could have our room as we were attending a funeral and they accommodate us in our request. The room was clean neat and tidy. Amenities were good. If we had a function in Ballina we would definitely stay there again.

Photos on the booking page are not an accurate representation of the premises. In reality the “resort” is nothing more than a travellers motel - hence disappointing upon arrival. Stayed at the Ballina Byron Islander Resort while in town for a wedding. Rooms were spacious & clean and had all the amenities we needed. Would stay here again but would recommend you have your own transport as you are a bit out of the centre of town. Staff were very friendly & helpful especially Trudy on the front desk.
