The house is was perfect for our family of 5. There were some toiletries already in the bathroom, which gave us one less thing to pack. It was perfectly located as we were visiting family in Ballston Spa and Clifton Park. An added bonus was the smooth and easy check-out process!

Great house

Simple, easy to stay in house, fit us all just fine while visiting nearby family for Christmas. The place was clearly just renovated and decorated with the intent of being a short term rental (probably the owner doesn't ever live there) Glad to see pet friendly places like this still exist!

Perfect Getaway outside Saratoga Springs

Our stay at this VRBO was absolutely amazing! The home was beautifully maintained, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, making it incredibly easy to get to Saratoga Race Course. Dana was incredibly communicative, ensuring all our needs were met and questions answered promptly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and look forward to returning!

Perfect spot

We stayed at Dana’s place so we could head to the race track. It was extremely convenient to get to Saratoga. The house was perfect for our family of five. The house was spotless and decorated beautifully. They had everything you would need, and so sweet she even left us a bottle of wine. It was a perfect spot and we would go back without question. Thanks for a great stay!!

We came to Saratoga for the last week of the Saratoga horse show and the house was perfect for me and my daughter and our trainer (as well as our horse show dog!). The house was easy to find, meticulously clean, and had everything we needed. We will be back next year!

Saratoga visit

My family and I came up for a quick visit and vacation. This VBRO was adorable and had a spacious kitchen with lovely appliances and was extremely clean. The furniture was new and so comfortable. The four bedrooms have plenty of room, attractive designs and comfortable beds. Dana responded to all of my questions. Great location

Exceeds expectations

This is a great place. It is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Little touches like fresh flowers make it very welcoming. Communication with the host was easy and responsive. I’ve rented a lot of places near Saratoga. This is a good one. Next time we’ll book a longer stay.

Perfect choice!

Extended family get-together, and this home exceeded all expectations. The place was immaculate, and in a great location. We did have a few questions—and Dana responded quickly on a Saturday evening. I don’t think I could have made a better choice!

Sweet Stay

The house is newly updated and immaculate. Pretty decor and sweet little touches, like freshly cut flowers and Saratoga chips and water - and even a treat for our son’s dog who traveled with us. We were only staying for two nights to see family on Saratoga Lake, but we wished we had more time to be able to relax and enjoy the fire pit and deck. Easy access to downtown and a quick ride down 9P to the lake.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cardinal’s Nest! The home was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. Everything was even better than described, and it was obvious the owners take great pride in keeping the property comfortable and welcoming. The location was perfect—close to local attractions, including the battlefields, parks, and other points of interest, making it easy to explore the area without spending a lot of time driving. Despite being so convenient, the home is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, which made it a relaxing place to return to after a day of sightseeing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

This home exceeded our expectations. From allowing an early (3pm) check-in and a gift of six bottles of Saratoga water and Saratoga potato chips to allowing us the full use of the washer and dryer and to a gracious checkout time, this rental met our every need. Our family had gathered for a burial of our stepfather's ashes in the town cemetery. Three couples: my spouse and me plus two daughters and their partners, all found comfort in all the furnishings and the well-equipped kitchen. We would highly recommend Dana's "The Cardinal's Nest" to future travelers to Ballston Spa and the Adirondack foothills.
