"Damien and Niamh were amazing hosts, and the home is everything and more! Travelling with handicapped parents is never easy, but the two made my father-in-law's stay comfortable and simple -- Damien went so far as to build a temporary ramp on the back patio to allow the wheelchair easy access. "Come for the views, stay for the peace and quiet. If you're looking for the "Irish farm house feel" this is the one! Nestled deep in the countryside on a hill overlooking where Atlantic ocean meets ths Kenmare river. Walking into the house made feel like I was at my Grandparents home (in idaho). We loved it. Would move here in a heartbeat We thouroghly enjoyed "Nan’s hotel". We are already planning a return visit."

"We stayed at Edens edge whilst we competed in the West Cork Rally. The Bungalow was perfect for our needs as 2 families with 2 small toddlers and 1 child. The best part of the stay was how equipped the house was. All the linen, towels etc you could need. Wash things, all the kitchen items plenty of pots and pans etc. The washer drier was a god send with young children and horrible wet weather. Lovely bathroom with large shower. Heating kept the place lovely and warm and water was always hot....

Beautiful Country Home located on 31 acres overlooking Bearhaven Harbour

"My husband and I stayed just about a week at this lovely home just outside of Castletownbere. The house was immaculately clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. The house had everything we needed, including a new washer and dryer, and made our stay very comfortable. The location was perfect for us to discover the Beara Peninsula and surrounding areas. We are very highly recommend this home to anyone traveling the Beara Peninsula area of Ireland."

"The Maritime had a luxurious feeling about it at a very reasonable cost. The room was very nice and I was cheerfully given a harbor view room upon request, the facilities were clean, staff was friendly and the food was excellent. The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of choices and quality food. Nice bar with a good menu. Conveniently located within close walking distance to downtown, one doesn’t require a car to visit the town. Overall, a top shelf stay. "
