Lovely stay at a unique 15th century home that has been restored to its previous glory. Many activities for children and adults including swimming pool, snooker room, an incredible outdoor park for children and several km of trails in the surrounding woods. The restored dining area, bar and sitting room, as well as the huge outdoor patio has ample space for large groups, too

It would be unjust to co.plain about anything at rhis hotel given the great help i had from the manager and his staff, the cleanliness and facilities in the room and the excellent breakfast and dinner They deserve a hotel full of satisfied customers paying huge sums !

Richard and his family were amazing! We were coming from the states for our honeymoon, and he had left chilled prosecco with glasses in our room. He immediately greeted us with a warm smile and hot coffee when we first arrived, and our dinner that night was superb! The family was getting the hotel ready for Halloween, and the bar and eating area looked fantastic. Our room was clean, and with two containers of fresh Irish milk in our fridge for coffee! He was available earlier then planned for hot coffee and breakfast the next day that was delicious. I ven though he was quite busy, he took time out to get to know us and treated us to a tour of the estate, complete with stories of its history given with patience and kindness. The next time we are in Ireland will be back!

The property is still in the midst of improvements but rooms that are completed are nice. The real asset is "Richard" the manager who goes out of his way to be helpful and make you feel at home.
