"Really peaceful place to stay, there was everything we needed in the cottage, i had to ring the host as tv wasnt working for us and the host arrived in about 10 mins to sort out. Weather wasnt the best when we where there, so it was nice and cosy staying in. I would recommend this cottage as we where very comfortable there "

"Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. The hosts and the property is warm and inviting. There were 4 of us and there was lots of room, 3 couches. The owners take pride in their property, it's very well built, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend this property if you just want a couple of days in the country or are attending a wedding at the castle."

"We were a group of five cyclists and the house was perfect for us.Paul's communications were excellent.The house was immaculately clean and well equipped.We made good use of the lovely area out back due to the warm sunny weather.Rostrevor is lovely with some splendid pubs and restaurants and the house is very central to them as well as being just around the corner from The Fairy Glen riverside walk and Kilbroney park."

"Very nice country House. Quiet location. Close to Tollymore Park. Big upstairs bedrooms with nice showers. Lot of space for big family. Only downside in cleaning - spiderwebs and spiders on ceilings. "

"It was amazing. Surrounded by hills and the Mourne mountains and a view of the ocean in the distance. Woke up to cows in the front pasture and sheep in the back pasture each morning. So peaceful there. Cottage has everything one would need for a very pleasant stay."

"A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! "

"A great location, lovely little place to stay. Host, very quick and amazing at what they do. This little barn house is one of those places, you want to keep to yourself…. but it’s that good, I’m sure it will never be short of people wanting to stay in it. We’ll definitely be back again. "

"The history, cosy atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff; all combined to impress me from check-in to check-out. I slept soundly in a large comfortable bed and in the morning they served me a choice of a big vegetarian or meat-lover’s breakfast. Simply superb! Well done to the team at Kilmorey Arms Hotel ! My Mood Compass will no doubt draw me back there again soon. "

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. They printed our Air Lingus boarding passes for us the night before we returned home. The room was clean, the shower was easy to use and had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The breakfast was great! We had a wonderful meal for dinner also. The only thing I would suggest for them to change is the time they start serving breakfast, 9 AM is a late start. If guests want to do regional sightseeing or have an early flight they would have to skip breakfast, as we did on our final morning."

"Had an absolute fantastic stay at the Briers, Darren and his staff couldn't be more accommodating and helpful! The room was spotless, very comfortable, gorgeous views of the garden and surrounding landscape as well. Breakfast was delicious and very well laid out , with loads of choice ! Excellent all round, would have no hesitation in recommending the Briers as a place to stay! "
