"What a charming, spacious house in the Irish countryside! It was perfect for our family of 5. Everyone got their own room and my 19 year old especially loved having the granny flat to herself! The rooms were actually bigger than they looked in the pictures. The board games were a nice touch and definitely got used.Mariza is an excellent host who truly went above and beyond. She was quick to respond to questions before and after our arrival. We were welcomed by Christmas lights, fresh baked scones and brown bread. And she had left firewood so we could have a cozy fire in the family room. When I messaged asking if she knew anything about the ancient wedge tomb in the area, she quickly reached out to her friend who owns the farm it’s on, so we were able to go see it the next day! The house is convenient to Cork, Blarney, and Killarney, and the town of Mallow is only 10 minutes away with grocery stores and restaurants. We really feel lucky to have found this house!"

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious with a nice view of golf course. The bed is comfortable. The used amenities such as swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Plenty of options in breakfast but we just noticed that only one staff there and you need to wait for a little while because if that. But overall nice hotel! "

"Gillian's apartment was the perfect base for us exploring Cork County, the beautiful Copper Coast and the magnificent Rock of Cashel. Parking is ample and safe, and the apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with EVERYTHING we needed to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen has all you need to make meals (we made our breakfast everyday before hitting the road, and a.couple of dinners too). Thank you Gillian for hosting us. We would definitely return when visiting Cork County again."

"Breakfast food for the first day was graciously provided by the owner. Accommodations for our 7 adults family was very spacious. If coming from the US be aware the are switches in the bathroom to active hot water in the showers. We had a hiccup with the hot water supply but the owner was very quick to resolve the issue. The close proximity to town (6 minute drive) provide d restaurants/pubs, food store, pharmacy, gasoline, church, shopping…. I highly recommend this house. "
