"We spent an enjoyable week at this lovely gite which is an ideal place if you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil holiday. Christine was the perfect host and made sure we were made welcome in this beautifully presented gite. The pool was cleaned every day and we really appreciated swimming as we had very hot weather for most of our stay. We spent many an evening outside on the patio enjoying watching the sun go down. Lady next door selling local cognac was very friendly. At night the sky was so dark, excellent for stargazing. The river charente is lovely for swimming in. Super!"

Availability of tea and coffee. DIDN’T LIKE (just minor things) Parking very tight and therefore tricky, no milk with the tea and coffee (though got a jug on request).
