I would say it's a short distance away from the Main Street. Almost everything is there. But it's also far enough away from the action that's it's quiet enough to rest after a long day of exploring. The room was fine for what I needed.

"This is an excellent hotel with plenty of amenities including an Onsen! The pool staff were attentive and very friendly. I had an excellent massage. Yes you pay more in a hotel but I wanted to test myself after a bicycle race earlier in the day 😀 I would definitely come back if in the area ..."
