"I must say that we stayed in July, which is low season and the hotel is doing some pretty big renovation. So there were very few customers. I think they should have close the entire hotel at that point. This being said, the room was spacious and very clean. The landscape is very well maintained and the hotel have a colonial feel. The pool is great too. We want to say that the staff is very helpful and kind. A special mention to Souli and Milo that made our breakfast very pleasant every morning. The only downside (that can be a good thing) is that the hotel is 8 to 10 minutes by car from the city centre. They have a shuttle every hour and a half. We didn’t mind since we rented a scooter. As I read before going the different services available by the hotel (massage, day trip, etc) are out of price."

"have had the great fortune of being a guest at Rosewood on numerous occasions, and each visit reminds me why I always look forward to returning. This most recent stay was for three nights, and once again, the experience was exceptional. I could easily make a lengthy list of reasons why Rosewood continues to stand out, but for me, it always comes back to two things: the architectural richness of the property, and above all, the extraordinary hospitality of the people who bring it to life. The Rosewood team has a rare ability to make you feel not simply accommodated, but genuinely cared for. Every detail feels intentional, every interaction thoughtful, and every moment quietly refined. There is a sense that the entire team is there with one purpose — to enrich your visit in a way that feels effortless, gracious, and deeply personal. The property itself offers everything a traveler could hope for when seeking serenity in the heart of nature. Surrounded by a canopy of lush trees, natural gardens, and the peaceful sound of a tranquil stream running through the property, Rosewood creates a sanctuary that feels both elegant and restorative. I am already excited to return again next year. My sincere thanks to the entire Rosewood team, and to the remarkable General Manager, Mr. Jonathan, whose leadership is clearly reflected in every aspect of the guest experience. He and his team ensure that a visit to Rosewood is not merely a stay, but a lasting memory."

"Super friendly staff. Mina at front desk arranged tours for us, pickup at airport before arrival. Tommy's were super spacious, super clean and high quality furniture. WIFI was tricky one afternoon but quickly solved. Deep bow to Mina, staff, drivers and personnel at restaurant. Breakfast had the best variety I have seen, and dinner had many choices. We stuck with Laotian, which was excellent, but there were pleb of choices including western and Asian. Great hotel, super staff "

"Khamsone and his wife run a very peaceful and clean place. I stayed in the Marigold suite and the morning sunrise was beautiful. Highly recommend staying here if you’re okay with staying outside of the main center."

"This hotel is pure charm! 🌿 From teakwood details to soaring French doors opening onto a grand balcony, the room felt spacious and elegant. The bed was heavenly, and I loved the unique breakfast—order straight from the menu, every dish delicious. Staff were warm and attentive, making the stay unforgettable. The French colonial style adds that extra touch of timeless beauty."

"Fantastic hotel Nice room - great pool , decent breakfast and extremely nice staff Location very good - turn left when out hotel and about 15 yards is cheapest supermarket/ well stocked we found. Turn right and plethora of cheap restaurants- about 20 minute walk to night market - but straight road and flat so easily doable - also a free shuttle from hotel at certain times plus cheap for tuk tuk- thoroughly enjoyed Luang Prabang , and would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a stay"
