"One of our favorite places. It would have been great if they enforced the ‘adults only’ rule at the adult pool, but they didn’t this last time we were there. Overall, we had a good time and the food has definitely improved at La Cascada. "

"You can tell this is an older hotel but my room was clean and well maintained. My room didn't smell like smoke so that was great. "

The room was thoughtfully stocked with plenty of towels, bottled water, coffee, and dishes. I greatly appreciated the communications I received via text before, during, and after our stay. "Have stayed at Meyer many times, always a wonderful experience. This time we were in rm 411, upstairs above the old dining hall. Had our own private screened in porch above the creekside meadow. "We were pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel is. Everything is so well preserved and is set up for optimal enjoyment. There is a wonderful courtyard with a firepit and plenty of seating to just relax and enjoy. Even enjoyed the little hummingbird flittering around from plant to plant."
