Beautiful hotel with decent breakfast and good spa
Beautiful rice terraces around and close to lots of good restaurants. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast great.

hotel is spacious and old. I was upset that do NOT have iron and ironing boards to press my crumpled clothings . The receptionist even threatened that my iron will be removed by housekeeping if I brought it privately into the hotel room from outside. all laundry pressing have to be send to their laundry services; and billed later of course.

The front desk staff was friendly, spacious room, old style bathroom, various dishes for breakfast, and nice swiming pool. The only part for improvement was taxi availability because it was not always ready and must negotiate for the rate instead of use argometer

Not good
When checked in I got a room which had not been cleaned up means sthing wrong with the system. And the swimming pool was very dirty. Old hotel doesn't mean bad maintain.

All departments are excellent except the front desk, upon arrival i felt beinh ignored. They even forget my welcome drink despite being reminded. Beware of their official taxi queue at hotel entrance, asking for 200.000rp to railway stn/airport, claiming that theur taximeter is out of order. However, the F&B staff are wonderful.

Prior to 2 months of my stay there, I was very specific on what I requested of my rooms. I made a request for 2 rooms next to each other & that offers a mountain view. I had also sent in 2 e mails on different dates to check if they rooms were confirmed based on my requests. But I didn't receive any reply. On the actual day itself, I was offered rooms that were NOT side by side n with city view. Mountain view rooms were not available. N I only had 2 other options to choose from. Wads the point in having a feedback column or website when you don even bother looking at e mails or requests? I had to waste nearly 2 hrs before checking in that I just decided to leave my bags with the hotel staff n proceed with other things. Extremely disappointed when I took the effort to plan everything 2 months before.

Good Location
Hotel Jayakarta Bandung located in the good location with good surrounding for kid's vacation. Near to De Ranch and Lembang. The room good but need renovation as this hotel quite old. The facilities is also very good for family to spend the weekend

Stayed in the hotel because of a meeting nearby. It is not convenient to all the tourist locations many come for. Bandung traffic is increasingly congested, especially on weekends. The rooms facing east are very noisy because of a main street heading uphill adjacent to the hotel. Try to get into a room facing the west.

Overall rating is good, i stayed for 2 night, first night came we didn't get what we want but it's paid on 2nd night, we get kingbed and butique room(new building) location was ok, so many food on dago. Breakfast was also satisfying. Swimming pool is big enough completed with outdoor hot thub. I will stay again for the next visit. With same/better room of course

Comfortable Hotel in the Dago Area
Optioned for this after my city hotel was full and thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast was good with enormous choice, however restaurant at other times quickly runs out of joy - with a menu which appears to be more suited to room service than a full service restaurant. That is my only criticism. The hotel has great front desk and concierge service, a good open air pool which appeared to be well serviced and other amenities. A great view (if you get the right rooms) over Bandung. Part of a hotel chain with a strong service ethos and 'their way' of doing it - I would stay here again.

The hotel room did not have good soundproofing. I heard everybody that walked past our room. There was a child screaming until late at night and it appears the hotel staff did not do anything about the noise.
