I just thought for the price I can get a luxury hotel in downtown Vancouver. I know Banff is sought after. Staff was amazing thought but the food in the hotel was mediocre at best.

The concierge, Neil, was outstanding. His knowledge, efficiency, patience & friendly personality made our 5-day trip effortless. Check-in & check-out were a breeze. The location was perfect. We never needed to move our car until it was time to check out. Walkability to shopping, restaurants, & trails was perfect. Highly recommend the trail to the Bow River Falls!! We had a lovely stay at the Royal Canadian Lodge - rooms were large (we were upgraded on arrival) the staff were friendly and it was a great location. We also really enjoyed the food at the restaraunt!
