GP house was such a hidden gem for us!! We found it last minute for our last couple of nights in Bangkok and left wishing we had more time there. Room was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s right down the street from the train and across the street from a food garden. It was also close to some markets and a ton of food options. We would stay here again! 10/10

I was nervous after reading some of the reviews but it looks like the place has recently been done up with new paint and other improvements. As someone else said, it is basic, no frills and pretty clean. Food court across the road wasn't noisy from our room. Location is good, near BTS.

I would gladly book this hotel again if I could! I was looking initially for a cheap and safe place to stay and found this hidden gem by pure luck. It has some delicious restaurants around it, is located within walking distance from Big C and multiple 7 Elevens, and is nearby the Sukhumvit train line. The room was clean and while I had issues for a few nights with neighbors smoking in the room (which you're not supposed to do), it was quickly resolved. If you're staying for a long trip, I definitely recommend this place. The one thing I would change is that there was no microwave or anything in the public dining room, which made planning meals a little difficult since my room only came with a mini fridge and an electric kettle.

Excellent customer service

Genuinely excellent customer service. Very helpful and kind staff. I had taken a taxi to the hotel and not a moment after I stepped out with my suitcases an employee saw me and started helping take my bags in. Two people helped bring my bags to my room. I also contacted the front desk at the end of my stay to get help taking my bags down. An employee came within ten minutes to help. I’m very grateful and appreciative of their excellent customer service. The room was very comfortable. The AC worked well. The shower worked well. There was a mini fridge and lock box. Across the street is a collection of small restaurants and bar food and drinks. Easy to get a table, TVs are there with sports on usually. Close to the train station, so you can get around very easily across the city. There was minor noise pollution from outside. I was on the second floor close on the street side. If this is a concern of yours, perhaps request a room on a higher floor or away from the street. It was a small concern, but typical of many hotels. I still think booking here would be good regardless. Would I stay at this hotel again? Yes.

A good option for late night arrival in Bangkok

The room was spacious with high functioning AC so I was able to stay cool throughout the stay. The staff at the reception was very kind and helpful showed me to the room.
