Great hotel and staff

I stay there every time I go to Bangkok awesome hotel very centralized to everything that I needed… great staff… excellent housekeeping staff rooms are super clean. Showers are the best in Bangkok… very happy overall and they also have a grocery store on the first floor… 5 stars for me for the money…

Grand 5 Hotel is a great hotel. Conveniently located with many "stores" located in connected area of the hotel. Great for little shopping items, including pharmacy items. Exceptional staff, very helpful and friendly. Clean rooms and area.

“May” at the front desk was exceptional. The entire staff at the hotel is very friendly and forthcoming to help. Hoteldoesnt have pool or a gym. But other than that it’s in the hustling part of the city with Arabic food every where.

This is not a four star hotel as advertised. The breakfast buffet was poor quality. After trying it my first day I chose not to eat at the hotel again. The room was decent but not great. Spa was phenomenal! I would never stay here again. I would spend a little extra money and stay at a more recognized hotel.

It was OK

As the title reads, it was OK. Location - very close to Nana Plaza, so if you want a red light district 2 blocks away, I guess it's good. Not much in the way of Thai food in the immediate area, but lots of Turkish restaurants and shops. Air conditioning was super sketchy. It was set at 17 but the temp was at 28. Asked for someone to fix it, and they sent someone to set the temp to 10. Got back to the room, and the temp was 11. Reset the temp to 17, woke up in the middle of the night to 28 degrees again. Basically, it worked some of the time, but odds are you were freezing or melting at the air conditioner's discretion. Lots of taxis and tuk tuks outside the hotel, but if you're trying to use Bolt or Grab, directions send the driver to the other side of the busy road. The nearest place to walk across the road is about a block in either direction, so most won't wait for you. And for a car to turn around, is a few blocks on a very busy road. So, many times the car service would just cancel on you. If you're going to Chinatown or the temples it about an hour drive in traffic - and there's always traffic. I've stayed at worse, I've stayed at better. I wouldn't stay there again.
