The standard room was nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. The thing I like the most about this hotel is the location. Within 1km of the hotel there is a canal boat dock, the Makkasan Airport rail link, and the an MRT station.

Arrived late at night the original room they gave me had not been updated. The mattress cover was stained with red wine. Front desk staff upgrading me to a nicer room. plenty of water in the room which is served in glass bottles as opposed to plastic which is a nice place. Looks like they were spending money at the hotel redoing the front driveway unfortunately one of the elevators was down so it made going to the room a little slower at times. Overall, a decent four star hotel staff were pleasant and helpful.

The rooms are definitely not five-star more like a three-star hotel. The service generally was excellent though and from reception it does look like a five-star hotel. However the sauna and steam rooms were not operational during my stay which is a shame because I wanted to use them and they are quite small too. The room did have a safe and a fridge which was very good to have. The bathroom did have some mould in the tub area which was not very pleasant but didn't really detract from my stay.

Liked property location close to busy areas but far enough away from craziness. Limited bar and restaurants. Soundproof it is not could hear road noise from 18th floor. Also could hear music from room next door.
