The location of Lullaby Inn Silom was my primary reason for choosing the hotel, based on similar comments from Expedia users. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, as evidenced by their dedication in contacting my airline to check if my lost baggage was retrieved yet. Top marks to the young ladies who seemed genuinely helpful.
I stayed at this hotel on 2 separate occasions, separated by a month. On the first occasion, I opted for a windowless room, which was about $5 USD cheaper than a room with a window, but I was looking to save some cash at the time, as I was staying for multiple nights. On the second time around, I received a room with a balcony, which I now recommend exclusively. If for any reason, I prefer a window room so I have a relative sense of time outside, lest I sleep in until 10:30 in the morning, which does nobody any good.
The room was clean, modernly styled, with a powerful air conditioner. This was my favorite feature, but it gets noisy predominantly at night, when everything else outside is quiet in this subdued part of Silom. My biggest gripe was that my rooms were always far from the Wi-Fi router (and by far, I mean 5 meters), so I had a devil of a time using YouTube.
I like how the waters are free, there is a coffee tray, and the soap/shampoo dispensers in the shower. My favorite feature of the room is the powerful shower---excellent water pressure with good modulation of heat, sometimes annoyingly so.
