Frankly, I can't say enough Good Things!!! The staff and especially the manager and the young man Bacon were exceptional! No matter what we needed help with, they were eager to assist. It is an older property but the condition, charm and elegance are reminiscent of the "glory days" of traveling!! The room was cleaned so thoroughly and always smelled fresh, not like a bottle of disinfectant!! The breakfast was filling and there was always fruit, juice, crackers, cookies and coffee available in the lobby at no cost!!! Everything worked in the room!!!!! No noisy appliances or 1 channel TV's, everything functioned correctly! I have already recommended this hotel to friends coming to Thailand soon and told them if they want a quiet (rooms Are Soundproofed!), conveniently located hotel this is it! The availability of Grab makes transport to the "city proper" a breeze and while restaurants are within easy walking distance, you can always order delicious food from virtually anywhere with little or no charge!!! Mariya Boutique Residence is a hidden gem, in the remarkable paradise that is Thailand!! Tell Bacon, the manager and staff we said "Hi" on your next visit and you won't regret it!!!! 5 STARS!!

I stayed just one night after my flight from Koh Samui and before my flight back to the US. The room was large and comfortable. The only negative was the lack of elevator, but the staff carried my bag both up and down the stairs for me, so not really a big deal. They provided breakfast, but I left very early so didn't get a chance to try it. However, they had some fruit and coffee available which was very appreciated. Staff was very friendly and I received an email shortly after booking with instructions for meeting their driver for pick up at the airport on arrival. It was nice not to have to worry about finding transportation.
