The hotel is old... but value for money, it's not 5 star but it met my needs and budget. Room is big, check-in and check-out were smooth reasonably clean... but they did not change my dirty towel :( it's no big deal but something for tge hotel to improve. Generally i enjoyed my 2 nights. It is walking distance to huge shopping mall and many food choices, not too far out of the city, but traffic is a "minus". I was comfortable.

Tourist class hotel
Staff are really nice, yes interior run down but very clean. Old furnitures, but bed is comfy n pillows are nice compared to other similar class hotel. Near to 7-11 n cafe. Some small food places. What I dislike are the boisterous china tourist.

Really good facilities... once you got to know some of the transportation routes, you weren't far away at all. Sidewalk areas somewhat tricky cos very narrow along the 130 but that had nothing to do with MetroPoint. Excellent shopping within a mile.

Not like the pictures , not worth the money you spent, the girl at front desk so rude , I arrive 15 minutes before check in and just told me cannot leave bags here at corner we have. Coffee ( hotel owns it) go there and com back after 3 pm ... Really ? I was in a 13 hrs flight . Check out , the worse 11 am and people knocking at my door to get out the room , I payed 75 extra us dollars for a late check out . Not recommended stay in a better hotel like Hilton it's almost the same cost , with no rudeness . And people working and making noises since 7 am

Get what you pay for
Me and my husband are backpacking so we are on a budge but like certain comforts that we like to have. As a hotel for the money. It is what you pay for. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Just remember you need 500 baht in cash as a danage deposit. The rooms them self could do woth an upgrade especially the showers. And re-painting as there were marks all over alls in the room. The bedding had stained marks on them that iust need putting in the bin. Bed was ok in comfort. Am unsure if most beds are hard. It wasnt a brick but not soft. I slept okay though so it wasnt too bad

WIFI system was illogical
Everything was okay except the wifi. Talk about a dumb wifi system, it was also a headache to finally get log in info for the wifi that worked.

Great place to stay
It was a very enjoyable stay it was very good for the price and short walk to the canal where you can get boat taxi to Bangapi Mall where you will great restaurants and cinema. I would definitely recommend to stay here.

When we first arrived the front desk lady could not speak English. It was so hard to communicate with them. Finally after checking in, we wanted to freshen up. When I got into the shower, the shower head was covered in mould. The bathroom was filthy and smelled like ciggerates. The hotel is located 20-30 minutes away from any touristy attraction. There’s no place that is good to eat around the hotel. Lastly the biggest problem we had was you can hear all the noises going on outside. We were woken up at 3am by an escort knocking on a door outside for an hour. Hotel staff did nothing about it, and when we called to complain. All they said was “no English” and hung up. By the way they have no safe so you need to carry a backpack with all your documents inside. Needless to say, don’t ever EVER stay at this hotel. There are many better options, even hostels are better than this craptel.

Great hotel to get over jet lag
The room was great. I had an 8th floor room with a view of the city. There is a 7/11 just down the road to pick up essentials. The room gives you free water. There is a hair dryer. Reception does not speak that good English but the WiFi is good so can use a translator app.

Overall a very nice stay
Good hotel overall, a bit old-fashioned but well-kept. Nice location between BKK airport and city center. Lots of restaurants and businesses nearby. Very spacious room with balcony and view. Two places for breakfast: American breakfast at the ground-floor cafe, or buffet at the breakfast hall (which could be crowded with tour groups). The buffet is basically Chinese, not the best in town but quite OK. The reception staff may not be very eager to help with potential issues (mine was a Wi-Fi problem), but if one insists (and gets oneself understood - they speak very little English), things get done.

Worth with your pay
pros: close to market, convenient store, and a bit walk 25 mins to The Mall Bangkapi. Friendly staff and clean bathroom without bathtub. cons: Chinese and Vietnamese always noisy even after midnight and smelly room of smoking, you'd better to have your breakfast after 8am

Poorly Maintained Hotel
When we checked in, the room was very dirty and and toilet was chocked, water nozzle was damaged. After the staff helped us to changed to another room, the room was slightly cleaner however the toilet has damaged nozzle on the shower and the knob was broken too. Ridiculous

Worth the price
We stayed here for 2 nights and paid less than MYR150 with breakfast included. Overall the price is worth our stay. The hotel is a bit far from Bangkok City. 30 minutes from Don Mueang airport. Everything was good-the room & bathroom was so clean, the room is spacious enough for two persons,they even gave me higher level room for better view as requested. The reason is to watch 2017 New Year fireworks from the balcony since I stayed there on New Year. Flat tv, refrigerator, water heater, kettle were provided as well. The breakfast was so-so maybe because of we, Malaysian prefer Nasi Lemak, Roti canai. They served Halal foods which I think is great. Fried rice, fried noodles and some pastries was served as well. The only thing is no so many guests staying there, only me and my husband was at the cafe during breakfast time. The hotel was also so quite,we only noticed one group of tourist from China celebrated New Year there. No swimming pool. The staff was ok, only that some of the receptionist cannot communicate in English but they willing to make morning call since we have to go to the airport early in the morning. Overall the hotel is so worth with the price.
