Wonderful staff. Food was varied and tasty but cold-that needs improving. We liked the pool area and very good free shuttle service to some nearby attractions. If you are short of time and want to see main attractions I would recommend you stay in the center as it cost us a lot in taxi/grab fares and time.

The hotel is nice, beautiful location on the river and excellent staff. But the transport to city and back is a little inconvenient. One has to rely on taxis and tuktuks or wait for the one way hotel shuttle for a drop to Taksin for BTS or the nearest ferry. That became a bit difficult due to the crowds around new years as the city was very busy.

My New Favourite Bangkok Hotel

Fantastic value compared to the other riverside hotels. It is out of the way, but you can get a lot of taxi fares for the 70% difference in cost. It's also faded in terms of decorating and decor- but super comfortable and very spacious rooms with great views.

The room was clean but old. Dining options were a hit and miss. Somethings were great like the famous Chicken Rice, but other things were a little disappointing like house red wine was served cold. Breakfast was plentiful but average. I recommend going next door to Terminal 21 Rama 3 for meals. The best thing was the staff and service. I would say ok value for money.
