Siamaze amazing
Siamaze is a quite good place to stay in Bangkok. The location is around 10mins walking from MRT Sutthisan, and there are several conveniences store nearby. My favorite part is they have compact breakfast area where you can cook by yourself! They provide all the utensils and ingredients such as eggs, bread and jam, even local instant noodle! Such a nice experience.

When I arrived at Siamese I felt like I had walked into a posh spa, not a hostel. The floors gleam. The rooms and bathrooms are immaculately clean and many have balconies. The free breakfast was remarkably good. I wound up staying days longer than planned my first time because it was so nice to have a calm place with WiFi to gather myself. Then I came back! There’s a lovely live music bar restraunt about two blocks away, and about three Thai massage places as well if you want an easy evening out.

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful 3 nights stay in Siamaze. Breakfast was self service with cook-your-own-eggs and bread. The room was clean and tidy, although the bed was a little too hard for our liking. Commute was easy with just a 10 minute walk to Sutthisan MRT station

Very Nice
We had a private room for about 35$ and werent disappointed. The neiboughood of din daeng is very nice and showed me a diffenrent face of bangkok that i didnt see in khosan road (which i hated). Staff was very helpful and room clean.

SIAMAZE is a bit far from the hoopla of Bangkok but close enough to explore via MTR or taxi cab. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this place. It is clean, offers great breakfast (bread, fresh fruit, eggs, juice) and has nice events weekly (e.g. cooking classes and free BBQ's)

Excellent, clean, quiet and safe to sleep.
We booked a private family room, myself, my wife and both my son really happy to the place and staff. Most important the clean bedroom being clean every day, free breakfast, and saw the staff clean the kitchen regularly. Lucky able to eat their free home made cake. Staff gave us good advise and save our money to travel with different transport. Well done. Excellent services .

Best hostel in Bangkok
First time travelling to Thailand and this hostel was my first stay, it was the best hostel ever. The staff were welcoming, the rooms were great, location is quiet and very safe, hostel is also and secure. The best thing I enjoyed about this hostel was the bbq party, I have met lots of new friends, had a great conversation with them and also recommended me some places to go such as Chiang Mai which I was very happy and cannot regret this decision. Next time I come to Bangkok, I will definitely stay here again as this was like a home to me!

We stayed here as we were passing through Bangkok. Positive The facilities are very good, the private rooms were clean and had all the necessities. The staff were very friendly too. Negative - The location is not ideal for backpackers, there isn't a lot to see in the surrounding area, however the centre of Bangkok is only half an hour away via MRT. - You were required to cook your own breakfast (eggs and toast) which was a surprise to us. This could probably be worked on as it wasn't very sufficient. Overall it was good value for money.

Highly Recommended
This hostel was perfect for us 2 girls traveling through Bangkok. The free breakfast is from 7-11:30am so no need to wake up too early. There is always eggs and toast, and the owner brings our delicious additions such as homemade brownies, watermelon, or traditional Thai snacks. The rooms are clean and the hostel itself is gorgeous. I'll be staying st Siamaze anytime I'm in Bangkok. I recommend this place 100%.

Nice hotel
The hotel was really nice, and escpecially the staff make you feel at home, the barbeque party and other activities they have for the guest is a great way to get to know others, overall it was a nice experience staying at the siamaze hostel

Absolutely recommend
I staid at the Siamaze hostel 3 separate times because it was so amazing. Only a 10 minute walk from the metro so it is easy to sightsee. However the neighborhood has everything a backpacker could possibly need. On top of that the AC and Wifi were amazing. Huge, spacious bathrooms and easy laundry service. What really made this experience amazing was the staff and their activities. The Friday night BBQ, the cooking class and movie night all provided free meals and a space for everyone to get together. Absolutely loved my stay here!!

Siamaze Hostel is located about 20 minutes from the city in a quiet street. Heaps of amenities close by such as Mcdonalds and 7/11. Great place to stay with clean rooms at an affordable price.

Worst Possible Location
We arrived here late in the evening after landing in Bangkok. Our taxi driver got completely lost as he had never even heard of the hostel which was our first clue about the location. We could not find anywhere to eat as there are no restaurants around about so ended up eating in McDonald's. This hostel is literally MILES away from the heart of Bangkok. You have to get a subway to even get into Bangkok or a taxi which has to pay a toll as well. In our opinion, the attraction to Bangkok is its vibrant atmosphere and nightlife. This hostel is dead around about, so much so that we stayed one night and moved to a hotel in Silom where there was plenty of restaurants, bars and easy access to the sky train. The hostel itself was clean, tidy and comfortable. The issue for us is the location.

I will come back here
First hostel of my solo trip and it will be hard to beat! I booked a 4 bed dorm, the bunks have enough room and a little bedside table. The lockers are big, bring your own locks or rent them from reception. Theres a basket of freebie shampoos etc in the showers that people have left behind. The tv lounge is a great room to meet people, also fyi... If you watch a dvd and its in thai - theres an audio button on the remote to change to english. Breakfast is help yourself to bread, eggs and fruit, you can make your own scrambled egg on toast. Drinks are juice, water, coffee etc. Theres always taxis going right past the hotel and there is a security man there to help if its early hour and you need a cab. I think to Don Meung airport a metered taxi costs 150-180 baht. Also right near MTR station. I will definitely stay here again next time im back in Bangkok.

Siamaze really amazing! The stay there was a pleasant one as I enjoyed the relaxing vibe it gave. Bed was comfortable and staff are very friendly. A good place to getaway if you want to relax away from crowded places.

Very clean and comfortable lodging.
We stayed two nights. The room was large and the bed comfortable. The shower was the best we have had in 30 nights in Thailand. We had a private double room with king bed. The neighborhood is fine, but it is out of the mainstream for travelers. On the other hand, the Sutthisan metro station is a short 10-minute walk (we timed it coming and going), which means you have pretty good access to all Sky Train and metro stops, so getting around isn't a big issue. We didn't find any particularly handy restaurants nearby, but we were only there a short time. The staff is friendly. Although it is a hostel and offers group rooms, we felt like we were in a hotel on our floor. We expect to try to stay again as we are using Bangkok as a way station for flights using Don Muang airport and Mo Chit bus station. This location is closer than being in the Sukhumvit area, possibly less traffic to contend with. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

VALUE FOR MONEY
Location: is slightly far from the nearest train station, about 5-10min walk but it's bearable. Surroundings are mostly private condos which we felt safe. There's plenty of food options at night when we are hungry. Room: Bed is hard for my liking. But wifi is great, room was clean and spacious. Service: Staff was friendly and felt warm during our 3 night stay. Overall it is value for money and it felt more of a hotel standard of a hostel!

Location was just slightly far from the train, about 10mins walk. There's good enough number of food nearby and we like the rice porridge just next to the hostel. Near to the weekend Artbox and chatuchak. This hostel feels more of a hotel which is great. we stayed in the deluxe private room and the size was pretty spacious for just us 2. Room was very clean and wifi works well. Only cons is that the bed is quite hard and we thought it was the bouncy kind from the pics. But overall for the price paid it is really value for money!

I had a 3nights stay here as a solo traveller and all I can say is that it was an awesome and truly SiAmazing stay! It's a hostel yet it feels more like a hotel. Location is a + as it's near MRT station, night market and have public motorbikes and taxis outside. The bathroom is clean and has enough cubicles with a ready to use shampoo and body wash in a dispenser, strong water supply with a heater and a hair blower. Room is a bit dim even in daytime tho but they have individual reading and dim lights in each bed bunk with individual socket for you to charge your electronic devices. They have spacious lockers for your to keep your things safe(bring your own locks or you can buy from a nearby 7-eleven store). The aircon is good and cool but I just hate it during my first night because I stayed with a group of friends and they're so noisy and they turn the aircon temp in 26(aircon in 26 temp???) Inconsiderate as it seems because they are not alone in the room. Staff Aey and 3guys are very friendly and helpful in giving directions. I had to leave early for my flight the next morning and Aey was very kind by extending her service. She kept 3babanas, coffee, creamer and sugar for me to have before I go. I would definitely stay here again and strongly recommend fellow travellers to stay here.

The location is pretty far from downtown bangkok. The room need some sound proofing as you can hear noises outside your room. The hostel was located beside a canal so there is some foul smell when you are at the dining area.

I've stayed at Siamaze twice and both times have been great. The bed and rooms are spacious, clean and efficient. The staff was quick and helpful during check in and out; and the common areas are nice. I didn't have any issues while staying there, only that perhaps there be more lighting in the rooms. Getting to Siamaze is super easy from BKK Airport and just 15 mins from DMK airport. I took a taxi from Mo Chit Bus Station to Siamaze for under 100 baht. And the general area is safe (many other hotels) and has a MaxValue nearby for basic goods.

Very good hostel that provides both beds and private rooms. New and modern, with good facilities. Room is spatious and clean. However, there is no chair in the room! Besides, the lobby is not air-conditioned. Breakfast simple, only bread and cakes. Overall good value though. Would stay again!

Simple and clean hotel. Location is a little too far from MRT stations and too far from the main road. Takes 20 minutes to walk to HuayKhwang night market. Staff are friendly with simple breakfast (bread, bananas, heavily coloured fruit juice, coffee, tea, milk.

Clean, comfy place to relax.
This was our fifth hotel/hostel we stayed at in Bangkok over the last month, all roughly in the same price range. The rooms were the largest and cleanest. It was close to metro, making getting around easy. There were also several street food options and a night market within 2-10 minutes or so walk. Unless our plan was to spend a day or two exclusively in the old town, we will use Siamaze as our base for Bangkok. It's really a good value (and clean)!

Room was big and place very clean thru out my 2 weeks' stay. Staff was helpful. The MRT walk was a bit far but soon got used to it. Not all hostels or even some hotels provided any breakfast. Hence the owners are thoughtful to provide toast n jams plus tuna and banana to the travellers daily. Occasionally there's waffles with honey too. Good value for money.

Great hostel, which reminded me of a hotel. Really big rooms, comfortable and nice decore. My boyfriend complained about the big pillows, but you know ....:-) the location is abit far from the city though, so you have to take the train or cab which is 25-40 thb p.p. depends on where you go. We all had tuna for breakfast and all of us got sick twice. These are the only complainings we had. But you know, tell them or eat jam :-) great value for the money. I liked it a lot.

Really liked this place but drawback is location. Nothing of convenience or intetest in walking distance. MRT is a ugly, hot, dirty suprisingly long 10 minutes walk along a major road.

First hostel experience
Hostel doesn't provide hair dryer even I stay in surprior two bed too. I think it is a typical for hostel. Sun barthing on the hammock in the hostel garden is a great experience!!!
