Super propre, parfait pour un court séjour avant d'aller à l'aéroport. Loin du centre ville. Très belle piscine, gym de base. Restaurant sur place et l'heure du thé/ cafe gratuit.

The stuff was great. We had great service and help. Very nice and clean property with good facilities. The train station is very close. The resort is away from the city which makes it nice a quiet but not many places to go out and eat in the area.

Positives: Beautiful entryway, pristine pool, steam rooms, full gym overlooking pool, kind reception and staff, large rooms, clean property, daily housekeeping, excellent breakfast. Drawbacks: Zero walkability to anything you'd want to do in Bangkok. I woke up in the middle of the night a couple of times during my stay because the room was slightly shaking, but I'm not sure why - it felt as if there was a tiny earthquake happening, but perhaps it was the effects of the train about a mile away. Not sure, but if you are a light sleeper, this may be something to consider.

Staff super friendly and couldn't have done more to help us. Location good and near airport link. Unfortunately building next door is having major work done which was unsightly but not noisy when we stayed. Pool is great to cool off. Food good. Conseige got metered taxis very quickly for us when needed.

All the staff were eagerly accommodating in solving the problems... There were issues of mold contamination in a few of the rooms we were presented with on our arrival but luckily there was a room that was ok after they changed the moldy shower curtain. I appreciated all the staff including the dietary group who cooked very delicious Thai food.

A shameful establishment. My daughter had a football tournament in Bangkok this past weekend - due to the coronavirus situation in Asia, the tournament was cancelled and travel was impossible. I had booked a room for two nights for her and my wife. Attempts to contact the hotel repeatedly about this 10 days prior were fruitless - they kept deflecting inquiries by saying the manager was not available. Now they refuse to even consider a refund, after the weekend has passed. Shame on this hotel for failing to accommodate travellers affected by this current situation. Avoid.

Great quality for the cost
We stayed here before flying out of BKK. It was close to the Hua Mak station, so getting to the airport was cheap and easy. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The pool was also clean. The buffet breakfast had a good combination of Asian and Western options.

Did not feel like a 4 star hotel, the pictures are a facade. The room seems run down with visible cracks on the walls and rust in the basin. Floor is rather sticky. Although it is pretty near the train station, it still takes a 5min walk and the hotel is rather secluded, so the walk to and fro in the night is dangerous. On one night, heater was down and hence we called the receptionist for assistance. He told us that he will check and call us back but did not do so. When we called the receptionist back, he said he couldn’t contact the engineer because it was late and we had to deal with the cold water. Disappointed at the bad service as they did not bother to update us after saying he will do so. Also, he did not even ask for our room number so that he can call back to check on our heater the next day. On another day, we called for room service for toilet paper and they said they will inform the house keeping. After waiting for a good 20min, there were no response. We decided to go take it from the receptionist and she said she did not receive any instructions? This reflects yet another example of poor service. Checking out took very very long even though there were no one else in line. Receptionist said it will only take 5min and told us to take a seat and will get back to us when it is done. Waited for 30 mins and decided to check with her. She was just chilling at the counter and replied with "oh it is done". So we waited so long for nothing? Will not return for sure.

Overall a nice hotel
The hotel was good, close to the train station. A few things to note if you consider booking here: - there was no safe in the room - there was no warm or hot water in our apartment - our apartment came with a ktichen, so we assumed there would be kitchenware but we had to request these separately and it was a bit of a mission but the staff were lovely - the pool was beautifful - there was a vegan burger on the menu, which was nice, but not sure if the mayonnaise itself was vegan. also, the prices do not include tax or a 10% service charge (you may also be expected to tip on top of that, so it ends up being quite expensive to order room service) - The clientele seem to be mainly business people and large groups (at least during our stay). it was quite noisy in the hallway very early in the morning. Overall, would recommend and would stay there again

The Hotel is located in a very convenient location to catch taxis and the sky train half way between BKK airport and the city. The rooms are huge and the the bathroom is very unique and pleasant. Huge bath tub which is nice and rain fall rain, which unfortunately the water pressure was poor. The swimming pool is lovely however when sun bathing or just sitting the pool the flys from the swamp next door gets very annoying but not unbearable. The restaurant is good but has limited food choices but its ok if you are there for a day or two.

The location being close to rail line was great, airport to hotel on train for 25baht staff friendly and helpful. Great pool. I would definitely stay here again. Signage from station to hotel would be an advantage for travellers

Great Hotel Highly Recommend
As always the Silver Palm exceeds expectations easy to get to from BKK Airport off the airport link short walk to hotel or they will pick you up at the link. The hotel is quiet, very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast and always an enjoyable stay. Its a regular when in Bangkok for me or my family.
