"Friendly lovely athmosphere shabby chic with emphasis on shabby ... room was very musty smelling and shower drain blocked ... slight sense of impoverished neglect. Very bizarre dinner for Burgundy. Asian veg wraps with soy dipping sauce followed by poussin with rice and ... soy dipping sauce. Then really murky pud: some kind of stodgy cake. Not good. Nobody ate it. Nice ice cream. Delicious bottle of Bordeaux at good price. "

"Fantastische plek om samen met een andere familie vakantie te vieren. Veel Franse charme in en rond het oude kasteeltje. Absoluut aan te bevelen voor diegenen die naar die charme op zoek zijn."

"Charming B&B in a small village, run by a lovely Dutch host. The room was big and fortunately had aircon, which was vital during the heatwave. For a small extra charge (around €30), you can get a 3-course dinner cooked by the host, which was delicious, and served outside in the courtyard. Breakfast was also served in the courtyard and was plentiful to start the day. There is a village car park (free) next door to the B&B and had plenty of spaces."

We were lucky enough to enjoy the 8 course dinner, what a spectacular way to immerse yourself in the history of the magnificent chateau. Would 100% recommend this property for a luxury stay, we hope to return one day. Irina was so generous with her time and sharing of the history of the property and local area."

"Reception staff was very helpful over the phone to find the Hotel. Private parking very safe and easy to access with a large car. Check in speedy and smiling. The room on the first floor (as requested). Lock in the door close not to accept the key. Had to fight hard to get in and out. Room large enough but needs renovation as i.e the wall paper hangs out its last days. Bathroom needs to be fixed especially the shower and the water running under the door. We hope we got the worst but expected to get the best."
