The house was clean. Each of our teenage kids had their own room and bathroom. Location in the river is great. Lots of nearby wildlife including deer and eagles.
My family and I were very impressed with the accommodations. The setting was spot on and very cozy. I would definitely recommend this home for rest and relaxation as well as some family fun.
This was our second time staying here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We especially appreciate the spacious covered deck & fire pit area.
We will definitely book again!
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, cozy cabin right on the Watauga! The house is really neat…super clean with everything we needed. It was easy to check in and communication was great. You can’t beat the location! I would highly recommend this home and hope to stay here again!
Superb: location, kitchen/dining/living room, dedicated bathroom for every bedroom plus 1/2 bath, tv’s and wifi, parkingUnacceptable: damp master bathroom resulted in sour-smelling towels (in spite of extended use of both exhaust fans)Repairs recommended for master bath: floppy loose shower head, extremely tight hot water valve for sink
This was our third stay. The house is absolutely beautiful; the porch is unlike any other. It’s my absolute favorite. The property is beautiful and very well-maintained. Outstanding customer service. We will be back.
The house was great for what we needed. Clean and well equipped kitchen. It was a shame they didn’t have a gas grill but we made it work. Great time, would stay again for sure.
We had the best time at this property! The house was beautiful and clean, the property was breathtaking, and the property manager was very easy to communicate with! We can’t wait to come back in the future!
This is our second time our family has enjoyed this beautiful home. We were fortunate to be there during peak leaf color, and it was awesome! I have always loved the Valle Crucis area. The location particularly worked great this trip, as our grandson attending App State was able to join us. Just as our first stay, everything was amazing!
House was perfect for our group. Very comfortable and outside area was perfect for everyone to have plenty of space. Fishing was fun too! Overall awesome house that we hope to visit again. Thanks!
The setting of the home and the coziness is absolutely perfect! Beautiful piece of property on the river, wrap around porch, all rooms have en suite bathrooms, we loved the two living rooms and the large round table for dining together. Super comfortable home well stocked with all your basic provisions. That is very appreciated. The location is perfect to explore all the nearby towns. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back in the summer.
Everything needed for comfort and peace is provided. Very clean and well provisioned. Spacious, with two living areas inside and lots of covered porch seating. Very quiet and no traffic on this small lane, watched the deer crossing the fields every day! Easy to reach - no steep driveway.
The property was gorgeous and it was easy for all of us to get ready for various wedding activities. The porch was just incredible. We had trouble getting the side door to porch locked properly.
We had a blast even though it rained most of our stay. That's the mountains! Hiked in the rain, fished in the rain, played in the rain. Killer Monopoly games inside at night. So much porch time where we never got wet. Coffee and wine always taste better on the porch.
This home is a perfect log cabin with plenty of room for your family. Lots of restrooms. The decor is wonderful. The wrap around porch is the best. I do have to say that the TV situation is a most review. The main living room downstairs does not have a TV. It does on the second floor. It would be better on the first floor where your family gathers for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you went with adults, it would be easier to entertain then hauling refreshments and drinks up to the second floor. Most importantly is the streaming to watch TV. Most old folks do not know how and that includes me. Please don't let this keep you away from this home. We really enjoyed it very much. I give it a BIG 10....
