My place is close to family-friendly activities. You’ll love my place because of the coziness and the location is perfect for anytime of the year. My place is close to Ski Sugar (2 miles), Ski Beech (6 miles), Grandfather Mtn, Boone, Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad, Blue Ridge Parkway. You’ll love my place because it`s Nested in the Lush surroundings of the Blue Ridge Mtns. Our cabin offers all the comforts of your own home combined with the beauty and serenity of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Country Bumpkin is a spacious 720 sq foot with 1 bedroom plus a small loft. The bedroom has a comfortable king log bed. The loft is perfect for kids or teenagers as an extra sleeping area only (low head clearance). The loft has a queen size futon and is only to be used for sleeping. very small children must be supervised at all times due to the steep pitch of steps to the loft. Beautifully decorated with primitive decor. It is easy accessible and not far from area activities and shopping. It has a gas log stove, full kitchen, 1 bath with a wali in tiled shower featuring dual shower heads. Couch has double recliners on each end. 50` smart TV in living room, wifi, 32` smart TV in bedroom, charcoal grill, fire pit, mini spit heat/air unit. It’s beautifully maintained and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. We provide towels (1 per person), wash cloths (1 per person), hand towels (2), sheets (loft sheets only if more than 2 people on reservation or by request), blankets, starter kit of paper products, soap and trash bags.****AS OF APRIL 2021 WE WILL NO LONGER HAVE HOT TUBS. THIS HAS BEEN A HARD DECISION KNOWING GUESTS REALLY ENJOY THEM BUT NOT ALL GUESTS FOLLOW THE SPA RULES AND THE COST OF UP KEEP IS TOO HIGH TO KEEP OUR RATES LOW****

We live nearby and want all our guests to know we personally take care of our cabins and are available to assist with any issues that may arise. Please let us know if any problems arise or you find our cabin unsatisfactory. We want to take care of things immediately to make your stay great.

The cabin sits on 8 acres of private property out a paved rural road. There are other one bedroom cabins (Little Bear cabin, Mountaineer cabin and Little Elk cabin) on the same property and are within walking distance of each other. Please do not request an early check in or late check out. We have several cabins to clean and usually have several in a day. We like to be sure that all cabins are ready by 3pm. Thank you!
We do allow one night stays during the week last minute or between odd bookings.
We allow pets with a $50 fee. Please know that we do our best to clean up pet hair left behind but you may still see pet hair. If this will bother you please don’t book with us.
These dates are not allowed for check in or check out: Thanksgiving day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
- Must be 21 years old, No smoking, Pets allowed with a $50 fee. Airbnb will be notified if pets are brought without notice.
Check in is anytime after 3pm and Check out is 10 am. Please do not ask for early check in or late check out. We have several cabins and most days we have several to clean. Please be honest about number of guests when booking. there is a small price increase for more than 2 people to allow for extra cleaning and laundry care. if correct number of people not disclosed the extra fee will be taken from the security deposit.

Our renters insurance policy excludes certain breeds of dogs.
Please do not bring these breeds: Akita, American
Staffordshire, Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Pit Bull, Presa
Canario, Rottweiler, Wolf hybrid or any dog that is a mix that
includes one or more of the breeds listed above.
