The Pinnacle Inn Resort is centered in the northwestern part of North Carolina in the beautiful High-Country area. Located in America’s highest resort community east of the Mississippi, Beech Mountain. Unparalleled scenery and abundance of activities make for an exceptional vacation experience.

Vintage condo located on the top 3rd floor (3 flights of steps - no elevator) , 2 Bedroom and 2 Bath unit with nice views. Unit is a little "dated" and "used" but clean and comfortable so enjoy our lower rates. We love our little escape and hope you will too. Fully equipped kitchen, wet bar, and wood burning fireplace. Dining area and eat-in counter with bar stools. Master bedroom has a King size bed and walk-in closet. 2nd bedroom has Twin over Full bunkbed. Also, there is a Queen size high-rise blowup mattress for additional sleeping. Laundry room w/full size washer and dryer. Both bathrooms have showers and tubs. Deck to relax and enjoy nature's beauty. There are books, board games, DVDs, dedicated Wi-Fi and TV for your enjoyment. Easy walk to the All-Seasons Center with indoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, pool table, ping pong, fitness, mini golf, tennis/pickle ball, shuffleboard, grills, and more! Walk to Town events -Movies under the Stars, Street Dance, sled ridding hill, etc., Fred's General store and multiple restaurants. Close to Overlook Barn, Lees-McRae College, Wilderness Alpine Mountain Coaster, skiing, snow tubing, sledding, mountain biking, town concerts, bike races, summer scenic lift rides, Land of Oz, Kite Day, 4th of July Fireworks and much more. Even try the Flat Top Brewery taproom or one of the three area wineries. Beech Mountain will keep you busy ALL YEAR ROUND! Pinnacle Inn provides possibilities for seclusion with the ability to be "In the Mix" just a short walk or drive away. Less than 10-minute drive to downtown Banner Elk. So come join us for a weekend, a week, or even a month. Sorry, no pets are permitted due to HOA policy and strongly enforced. This is a SMOKE FREE unit. Each condo is individually owned. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

NOTE: Pinnacle Inn Resort condos do not have air conditioning as built, but average summer temperatures are high 74 and low 54 degrees. During snow and ice, it is required to have 4-wheel drive/AWD vehicle or snow chains for access to the Resort/Town of Beech Mountain. Please contact the front desk for current conditions at 828-387-2231.

Perfect location to ski

Our stay was great and easy. Owner of the condo was friendly and kept me up to date on checkin- out info. The view was great and it was super easy location to get to and from town. We came to ski/ board and it was just a perfect spot for family time after the slopes!

Such a cute, clean place!

We stayed 4 nights and it was perfect for our family of 5! Very clean! Comfy beds. Plenty of blankets. The indoor pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna were all enjoyed by my family!! Awesome location. Cannot beat the price. We would absolutely stay again! Thank you!!

Absolute Must Visit

This place is so cozy! We visited for opening day at Beech Mountain and made ourselves right at home with the wood burning fire place indoors. Crackling of the fire, smart TV, and some pizza from the local pizza shop made for a great evening recovering from the slopes. Beds were comfy and good water pressure in the showers. Steam room and heated pool were also lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and 10/10 would stay again. Host was amazing, too!

We had a fun trip, enjoyed the condo, pool and jacuzzi tub. The owner included a good variety of DVDs and games for kids to enjoy. Dinner at Holly Smokes (1-minute drive away) was of a great taste and value!

Great Condo, close to the slopes. Beautiful view of the slopes. Condo had everything- board games, three TVs, game system, movies, and books. The exterior of the entire complex needs some upkeep. Will stay again. You can not beat the price! Had a great stay.

Always a great choice

I’ve lost count how many times we have stayed here. It’s in a great location for our intended activities, has the amenities that we prefer, the price is extremely reasonable and communication with the owner is a text away. It’s nice staying at a VRBO we are familiar with because we know what to pack and what is provided. One recommendation for newcomers: if you prefer darkness when sleeping, bring a blackout curtain or blanket to hang over the bedroom windows. Enjoy!

I would most definitely return

This is a very nice property. It is clean, well equipped, very comfortable, and quiet. However, it is just few minutes from the ski resort. I stayed 2 nights with my wife and 2 additional adults family members. I highly recommend this unit.

Highly recommend

Traveled with a friend and two 6 year-olds for their first ski trip. The location of Pinnacle allowed us to be within a 2-3 minute drive to the nearby sledding hill, Fred’s Mercantile, and Brick Oven Pizza which proved to be ideal for a quick bite to eat, especially for the kids. Beech Mountain ski lodge is also nearby, about a 10-minute drive with good traffic conditions. If you stay during a holiday weekend and find that all parking lots for the slopes are full, there is a shuttle nearby that runs all day. This condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel like home away from home. The beds were super comfy! I did have to reach out to the host for a question and he was very responsive. Overall an excellent stay!!

Nice place. Great location in a BEAUTIFUL area.We went in the office season and it wasn't crowded at all. With the pool and our own apartment it was the best of both worlds (rental/hotel). Great food in blowing rock and the alpine coaster was awesome

Everything was amazing. However, the king bed was HARD! It could definitely use an upgrade. The shades in the master bedroom could be bigger so there isn’t any cracks since the window is on the walkway and people could easily “peep” in. Other than those two things we loved the location, the amenities, and the water pressure.
