Slopeside is one of the closest vacation rentals to Beech Mountain Resort and the Ski Village.

With a private set of stairs leading directly into the Ski Resort & Village, you won't find a better location on Beech Mountain.

Walk to the Village in two minutes for skiing, snowboarding, tubing, dining, coffee, entertainment and the Beech Mountain Brewing Company Taproom & Pub!

In the summer, enjoy mountain biking, hiking, mountain disc golf, outdoor concerts and the Beech Mountain Brewing Company. Take a scenic chair lift to 5506' Sky Bar for Mile High Yoga or lunch and a beer at the top of the mountain.

When you aren't enjoying the Village and Mountain, relax in our updated mountain chalet. Panoramic windows throughout provide a 180-degree long-range view of the mountains for as far as the eye can see.

Enjoy the propane fireplace in the living room while you watch the game on a 65" HDTV. Because it's a smart television, you can also log in to your Netflix, Amazon Prime or Hulu accounts and enjoy the same content that you do at home.

Send the kids to the loft where they will find a 50" smart television in addition to an XBOX 360 and dozens of games... or follow them up and challenge them to a game of foosball on our full-size table. The sectional sofa in the loft converts to a queen bed. There is also a dedicated bathroom as well as a kids bunkroom (four single beds) on the second floor.

On the main floor, you will find two master bedrooms with baths, kitchen, dining room, mud room with racks for your ski gear and the living room, with a 65" television and even more beautiful views of the mountains.

Watch deer and other wildlife as they work their way down the mountain each evening from the giant outdoor deck.

Most importantly, enjoy the most unbelievable, breathtaking mountain views and both sunrises and sunsets from the giant windows in the cozy living room and spacious dining room.

The kitchen is fully-modern and well-appointed with everything you need to make gourmet meals during your mountain retreat. You will even find a Nespresso machine with a sleeve of a dozen espresso capsules waiting for you on arrival. If you're not into espresso, we also provide a Keurig machine, Cuisinart drip coffee maker and a traditional tea kettle.

We enjoyed our stay at Slopeside! The beds on the main floor were great, while the beds in the bunkroom were just okay per one of our guests.As our activities were mostly on the other side of banner elk, it was a little far - especially considering the twisty roads, and at night. The host was great - very communicative and cordial. I would note the loft is not a private room per say, so if you wanted 4 couples to stay at the cottage, it might not be the ideal choice.

Breathtaking views and lovely home

The views from the entire house are beautiful. The home is furnished perfectly and all the beds are really comfortable and the lay out works really well. Main bedrooms on the main floor and bunks upstairs. Can't wait to stay here again! And - the Lodge and rentals are 100 yards from the back stairs!

Perfect location

Really nice to be walking distance to the slopes on a busy weekend. Great for kids who need to be shuffled back and forth for snacks, naps, etc. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home and view.

If you want a beautiful view and comfortable home, this is it. We really enjoyed this property. It is just above the ski resort and has everything you need to enjoy some time in the mountains.

What an amazing house! The location to everything is great. It was such an easy check in process. The view is amazing and the owners were great to deal with. We made great memories celebrating my son’s 18th birthday there. Highly recommend it to anybody looking to stay.

Great family NYE

We’ve been coming to Beech for NYE celebrations for a few years now but this time we were a bigger group. Slopeside was a great location, clean, conveniently close to the slopes and with very attentive hosts. Really enjoyed brand new pans in the kitchen! Hope to be back soon.

Thanksgiving Get Away

We were impressed with the property, the layout is one of the most efficient and suitable that we’ve seen. Location would be great for skiing. Everything was clean and there were ample supplies of towels, bedding and dishes, etc. We would stay again!

Perfect Location!

We had (2) families, each with (2) adults and (2) children aged 7-11. Such a great location with beautiful views. Once we parked our cars, we never moved them and just walked to all the things to do at Beech mountain.

Fantastic views and easy walk/ski to the slopes!

Our group had a wonderful extended weekend here! We were able to leave our skis at the bottom of the stairs and effectively have ski in/ski out to the slopes. Having such easy access made such a difference in how much we got to ski! The kitchen was a joy to use between the wonderful views and high quality cookware - a rare luxury in vacation rentals. The kids made great use of the huge snow-covered deck, did plenty of sledding at the base of the hill, and enjoyed the thoughtful toys and games in the loft area on rare breaks from playing outside. Check in and check out were extremely easy (a blessing for those of us traveling with young children!) We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a mountain getaway!

Fall weekend

Slopeside was a perfect weekend getaway! The views were spectacular. We spent the majority of the weekend eating and watching movies. It turned out to be a windy weekend a little too much for my mom. She was happy just sitting in the living room admiring the view. Matt was only a text away if we needed anything. We are looking forward to staying at Slopeside again.

Mile High View

Awesome house that offered plenty of room for 6 adults and 1 eleven year old. Big windows in the den with 20-30 mile views. Going to the slopes and the village was a short walk down the steps. So after an initial trip to the grocery store, we didn’t start our vehicles again until checkout time. Our stay was further enhanced by 2 days of snow flurries making it a true winter wonderland! Hope to return in the future.

Gorgeous and cozy cabin with amazing mountain views

I arrived at the cabin late in the evening and had no issues finding it. I had a few days/nights on my own and felt completely safe. The coziness of the cabin made it feel just like home. When my family and hubby arrived they were super happy with the cabin and views of mountains. We had an easy walk to the Ski Loft for Land of Oz on Saturday. Sitting on the deck resting our tired feet was so relaxing with the cool night temps. The fireplace inside was super easy to use and kept the house nice and toasty. Matt was wry responsive when I reached out. The cabin guide with instructions was very helpful and the suggested restaurants were awesome! We will be back to do some skiing and to just have a relaxing weekend very soon.
