Ranch Style Cabin on 20 Acres in the Beautiful Tunk Valley

"Just an absolutely perfect place to spend a few days and nights isolated from the everyday! Waking up to birds and chipmunks and the distant growl of the neighbor’s tractor combined with the breeze through the trees to replace the hum of the interstate in town was just what we needed. The Tunk Valley is a gorgeous secret of solitude. Neighbors driving between Riverside and the cabin waved as we passed, making us feel extremely welcome! We spent most of our three days and nights sitting on the porch enjoying the birds and serenity all 20 acres have to offer. The cabin was very comfortable and inviting. Everything one would need can be found in the cabinets and drawers, with plenty of games!Peter was very responsive to messages and directions were very clear and easy to follow. One suggestion I do have is to download the directions for checking in before heading up as cell coverage was nonexistent (we have T-Mobile) at the cabin until we’d logged onto the wifi. Then, cell coverage and internet was crystal! All in all…just the perfect getaway if you’re looking for peace, serenity and a little taste of country/mountain living!Thank you again!-joel"

"THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR HOME!! Couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect - the home was lovely, clean, well appointed, and clearly a labor of love. Our family loved the week we spent there! PLENTY of clean bathrooms and an enormous kitchen to gather in. (Other than having a giant pontoon boat that appeared to belong to no one staying at the property tied to the dock for the entire stay, I can’t think of anything even close to a complaint.) The lake was so low that dock fishing wasn’t much fun but the kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boat, and canoes offered deeper water options if anyone wanted (which no one did). Great weather, only a little bit of wildfire concern, and one breath-taking thunderstorm all combined for a week that we’ll never forget! We’ll be coming back for another slice of heaven next year!!"

"we love this cabin. it is our 3rd time we have stayed there. Fish lake is about 15 minute drive. Hosts are great people.the driveway up to the cabin has one short steep section to negotiate."

"I don't really do the VRBO or AirBNB thing, but Livingston Lodge absolutely has made me rethink my views. The photos and description didn't do the view or level of comfort justice. I was in town for a big family wedding, but I am definitely going to return for a vacation. It was selected for it's convenience and it became a preferred destination. If you need quiet comfort in a stunning rustic setting, this is THEE place."

"The house was perfect for me and my family, plenty of space for everyone and games to stay entertained. The basement was a great place to hang out and play pingpong during the day and the living room was great for cozy movie nights. The farm animals out back were a nice bonus!"
