Excellent option for a longer stay on a road trip

This was an absolutely magical stay in Baños by the roaring river Pastaza. I really wished that I could have stayed more than one night! The views were amazing, and I would have surely loved to take more advantage of the hammock on the balcony! Hospitality and host great and accommodating too, with parking available, highly recommended!

We loved that is was very quiet as opposed to the noisy downtown. The taxi ride to the center is only $1.50 so you won’t waste any time or money. They were absolutely fab at helping us make the most of our time in this special place.

My stay was a short one but I found this property very nice and accommodating. Where it’s located is very serene and beautiful view of river. The staff is amazing, Johan in particular was so helpful in everything even when we had a flat tire. Exceptional service and breakfast was awesome!

Great Service and Experience!

Stayed here for one night and was very impressed. Johan was the front desk guy/manager and was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the balcony offered a spectacular view of the river and mountains. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. I would absolutely recommend La Cas Verde!

The only problem I had with the rooms was there was a peculiar smell and had mold most places in the room and the ceiling. Hot water for shower was not available on the third floor. Breakfast was good. Not a bad experience but the only thing I would recommend is more lights in the room and take care on the mold in the rooms.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel - calm and serene with scenic views. The room was clean and spacious. Johan was a great host and provided us lot of relevant information about dining options and things to do in Banos area. My 5 yr old kid loved their patio with hammocks and all their staff was pretty welcoming overall. The breakfast was spectacular and I don't think I have had that good an omelette in a while. Highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting again during my next trip to Ecuador.

This is an incredibly beautiful place! We had a stunning view from our room, with a balcony and a hammock. We spent a lot of time just gazing! Johan welcomed us and was extremely warm, fun, friendly, and very helpful with suggestions. He was very attentive, but never in an intrusive way. The breakfast was also great, and there's a fantastic view as you eat, of course! I can't imagine anyone not loving this place.

Family owned accommodation, interacted w/Johann exclusively, he literally always made himself available, speaks fluent English/Spanish plus he goes out of his way to provide useful info, arrange guides/tours with no kickbacks, he was awesome & very nice person. Thanks Johann. Property for us was awesome, low on ‘frills’ but outstanding location on river, nice King bed/ good breakfast w/ homemade items (basic but good, we were happy) A bit away from town, talk to staff & a taxi will show up no problem, or you could walk, we were short in time. I recommend the Zipline tour, 6 zips incredible experience 😃
