"Great area, staff were super friendly and cabins were clean and had everything you need! Bedrooms did get a little chilli at night (stayed in July so mid winter) so maybe an extra blanket would be advised!

"The beach house is marketed as ultra luxurious. It ended up being spotlessly clean and new but we found it to be of average comfort and finishings. Tathra Beachside feels secure with boomgates at the entrance allowing access to authorised cars only. Tathra itself is a great base to explore the townships within the Bega Valley Shire Council. Overall our family of 5 adults had an enjoyable experience staying at the beach house"

"2022 the first time we discovered beach cabins but its one of the best hotel weve stayed.. in fact its out favorite in Merimbula with million dollar view outside your door.. and you could walk on a track leading to a lookout with an amazing view.. we love chilling there after a full day of activity. theres a lake where you could do some fishing and a lagoon nearby too which you could swim around when the wave on shore is just too wild.. Plenty of spots in the hotel surroundings you could set up a picnic at.. the room itself is soo clean and comftable.. and the AC system are insanely powerful.. you head out in the cold and when you come back to your room you just have to switch on your AC and you feel the warmth right away.. Take note, the water in shower runs strong 😆 my partner and I always appreciate a good hot shower system.. overall our long weekend stay is sooo relaxing and fun at the same time. Cant wait to book our next weekend escape."
"The house was in a great location, right across the street from Bar Beach. House very tired, but served our purpose well of 2 young families spending a holiday together (including infants and kids up to 8 years old). Included lots of board games and toys, and the foozeball table was a hit with the kids.The major downside for us was the house was not very clean - the floors had not been vacuumed and mopped, which was unpleasant with babies crawling on floors. Tables had dead bugs and there were spider webs and dust across floors and tables, fridge had not been wiped out, also dirty underwear and t-shirt in bedroom cupboard that must have been left from the last guests. The worst was that one bed had sheets that did not fit, with exposed old mattress underneath which was not what I expect for the price we paid for the week. Having said that, the property management team were very responsive and came and changed the bed sheets on Easter Sunday. There was no offer to have the house itself cleaned again though. All in all, the house was great for our purposes, but I think the property managers and cleaners need to lift their game with this place and take a little more care. "
