Hi Clifford; sorry you felt personnel was absent. There is a set time for Office hours at our property. Outside of those hours, there is a number available and posted for guests to call in order to speak with someone

Our room was clean, but incredibly old and outdated. Our coffee pot was broken and the fridge was very noisy, but we just chose not to use them. We didn’t bother calling for replacements. Overall, it was a comfortable bed to sleep in, hot water for the shower, and a great location for Acadia and Bar Harbor.

First we showed up and they rented out our room. So we had to go down the road about 10 minutes to one of their sister properties and had to check out twice. I was fine with that because I understand times they make mistakes. But the next day we came back checked in in the shower goes from hot water to cold water throughout your whole entire shower. Then the internet did not work to be clear the person at the front desk like oh it works fine I'm on the phone right now with it. That doesn't mean your internet works it means your data if your internet is not working at that time. I tried connecting a computer my phone and my girlfriend's phone does not work. Then I complained about the shower and the room not being being reserved the night before. She looked at me with a blank stare and said well I got you a room how does she not understand that I had to check out instead of having the same place two days in a row and having to drive an extra 20 minutes there and back.

So sorry your expectations were not met with us Andrew. Double booking issues do happen especially when going through third party booking sites. It is hard to correct or please anyone after the initial issues starts out like this. All the best with future bookings

Don’t waste your money. Too many other lovely properties in the area. This unit was dirty, holes is the walls, torn wallpaper, and electrical outlets with no covers. The front desk staff is inattentive and upon check in….rude. It’s overpriced and under performing. Stay somewhere else.

Hi Richard; Bar Harbor is one of the safest places in the world; hence, there is ever rarely a need for deadbolts. Not many motels/hotels offer phones in rooms anymore and there is typically a bedside clock in every room; if yours was missing, we apologise. All the best

I hope there’s a place to show pictures. Dirty rusted fixtures receptacles with no cover floor is soft like a waterlog camper. Toilet is so small you can’t sit it’s 12- 14 inches high not at all a 1 star motel

Hi Thomas; sorry our property could not live up to your expectations. We are not sure which toilet you speak of, we have never gotten that complaint. Our floors are all carpeted except for bathrooms and this property has gone through a recent renovation. Thank you for your one night stay. We would have hoped that since you paid under 90, you would have had a better time. All the best

The amount of junk piled outside of where I put my GUESTS to stay is EMBARRASSING. I sent my colleagues whom are professionals to this dump. The outside eye sore says a lot For the standard of cleaning. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED AND DISPLEASED. I will be requesting a refund.

It is a very plan and basic hotel . Nothing fancy, nothing to like or really dislike . If you are on vacation and need a place to shower and sleep this provides a place to stay . I wasn’t disappointed because it was what I expected and there is nothing to excite you either

Definitely bare bones but just fine for a place to sleep. The bed was pretty comfortable, the pillows were a bit uncomfortable and the deadbolt was difficult to close but overall no complaints. Worked great as a place to crash for the night and super close to Acadia.

Clean and convenient
This is an older facility with its share of quirks but it is clean, has a fridge and microwave and suits for those with a limited budget in an expensive area. All over, it was a nice stay for two nights

Terrible. Room was damp. Walls thin and noisy. Pool half full and out of use. Junk lying around in back. Someone’s trailer randomly placed in back. Some lights out. No mirror in bathroom. Overall a dive. Zero stars. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Thank you for your comments Bradley. I find it hard to believe that all these things were wrong, yet you still stayed? The trailer belongs to us and is not randomly placed. Our pool is currently under construction, hence why it is out of use. All the best

Great room for the value. ...a mile or so from an Acadia entrance... If you are looking for luxury, go up the road and pay 800 a night, but if you need a nice, friendly, economical, clean place to stay after exploring Acadia/Bar Harbor, look no further than Acadia Pines!

The room was quaint with a homey feel. The staff kept the room very clean. Very few amenities. Room included a small refrigerator, television, heat, a/c, 2 sitting chairs, queen bed and night stands. There was no room for anything else. There was 2 chairs and a table outside the door of each unit. The room was VERY CLEAN. The bed was comfortable.

Clean, old fashion motel
Acadia Pines was a nice, clean old fashioned motel. We only stayed one night so didn’t use a lot of services. It is very near the Hills cove entrance to the park and downtown Bar Harbor.
